We got Nanny to sit outside one afternoon in early June, 2014. Her oxygen cord following her from inside. I asked her to put on my sunglasses, giving me an excuse to take a photo of this exact moment, without it seeming like I was documenting the days before her death. She passed a month later. 

Two weeks ago we got Poppy to take in the sunshine too. He is now on oxygen full time and had his cord keeping him tethered by 7feet to the interior of the house. I sat on the steps below him and tried to politely take a picture, with out the direct excuse of swapping sunglasses.
