By popular request, Slug World will be hosting Lost Levels this year!
We are so proud to run Lost Levels -- the seminal indie micro talk series with open signup -- for then first time since 2019.
Lost Levels will be a part of Slug World, an outdoor meetup for marginalized and alternative games people in Oakland on Thursday 3/23.

Slug World is meant to be the antidote to the overstimulating corporate exhaustion that is GDC. This is the event for people who would rather just hang out and make friends in a welcoming, low-pressure outdoor setting.

wip~ Crystal Goddess for the game Dread Delusion
No One is Here is a short somber game about exploring a forgotten town. It's the first game I made playing around in the PSX style back in late 2018 using a tutorial by 98demake, one of the original devs behind the modern PSX graphical resurgence. Below is how it began, using Unity's ProBuilder plugin, which I still use. Above is the finished game, which can be played here.

I've been reworking some of the UI elements to look a bit fancier, including Concord. Here you can see some new bullets, while the old sprite for the magazine has been replaced with a sort of faded background.
Not sure I'm sticking with the faded backing, but the pre-rendered rounds are here to stay!

My current main project is Soft Daisy, a first person RPG in the vein of System Shock and Fallout with an emphasis on non traditional interaction and post-human weirdness. You play as a baby-tapeworm-shrimp CPU thing that becomes sentient and steals a "commercial corpse" to escape/conquer a corporate Dyson sphere, all the while battling privatized security forces, a rampant AI, and struggling corporate factions in a stagnating, abandoned mining outpost.
Working on this with @mpwgamedev (on Twitter). I do writing, assets, and sounds while he does programming (the important stuff, ehe) and a good bit of similar things as well. A very WIP project right now.
