SCMDC will finish posting new prompts as of December 2025! Thanks to all those who’ve been a part of the blog since the beginning, and thank you to the talented group of writers who took a prompt then used their skills to turn it into something magical.

This year we managed to reach 1000+ prompt fics in total!

We had 6 exchanges in 2 years (including one that’s on its way in December)!

We even managed to break the end of month post in July 2024, with over 100 fanworks posted that month!

Thank you! This has been quite a journey from beginning to end! And it’s been a whole lot of fun!

Schitt’s Creek 31 days of Halloween is a fic a day challenge taking place in October. There are 32 prompts to choose from in total, both tricks and treats. Drabbles, Flash fic, and Ficlets, are welcome, as are Fanart and Gifs.
