17 years late to the party with dunks

19. Do they no how to dance (Waltz or otherwise?): Heliox knows a number of more solo, traditional Hingan dances (which he learned while living there), but no waltzes or anything of the sort. He does have good rhythm though, as one would expect, and can usually keep best. He's usually playing the instruments more than dancing to them, if that makes sense.
24. How does your OC/WOL express affection? (Platonic & Romantic): I'll preface with the information that Heliox is a VERY tactile guyâhis platonic affection is frequent, and usually involves hugging, though he's also been known to kiss his friends in the cheek or forehead platonically. Romantically is harder to distinguishâthere's a visible sort of closeness that his platonic affections lacksânot, to be clear, in a bad way, but merely in a way that is different. Handholding, proper handholding and not the grabbing of friends' wrists, is generally a more romantic maneuver, as well as kisses on the neck or lips, more intimate positions.
26. Who are in your OC/WoL's circle of friends? (Can be a mix of OCs & NPCs)
Heliox is very much the kind of guy who makes friends wherever he goes, so his total circle is very large. For the purposes, this will mostly just be those in his immediate friend groupâwhich is namely, the Scions, especially Estinien and G'raha, whom he is particularly close to. Outside of that, he's also good friends with Hien (they hang out/write on as often occasion as various responsibilities) and Sidurgu&Rielle (since they're a package deal).
Whatâs your WOLs favorite animal? Have they ever met one? Do they interact with one very often? What would they do if they owned one?
WoL/FFXIV OC question!
What does your WoL/OC smell like, and why? Do they smell like roses and morning dew, or is their scent more earthy and grounded? Or perhaps they smell like salt and sea from years of fishing and sailing?
pros of multiple blogs: things are well organised cons of multiple blogs: remembering to switch back to main to reblog tender old men
WoL/OC Question(s)!
This one goes out to the WoLshippers! Who do you ship your WoL/OC with? An NPC or another WoL/OC? How did they meet, and how long have they been together? What kind of relationship do they have?
Show me your favorite SFW gpose/art of them together!
WoL Question(s)!
Is your WoL/OC a student of Sharlayan? What is their field of study? Are they an Archon or are they still working on it (or are they even interested in being one)? Are they a good, hardworking student or do they forget to do their homework and fall asleep in class?
If your WoL/OC isn't a student, what would the hypothetical answers to those questions be?
OOOOOOOO. J'zara is a student of Sharlyan! Although certainly not originally from Sharlyan, he was scouted (Things Happened) and ended up attending and studying Healing/Chirurgeon skills, and Archaeology, with a particular focus on Nym and Belah'dia. (Of course, he's studied Allagans too, but who hasn't really? The scholars of Nym fascinated him far more.)
He's a VERY dedicated student, but more than a little scatterbrained - he only forgot assignments a few times, but he was devastated when it happened.
Rijun is NOT a student, and would probably make a poor one - he's bright, but would likely be bored out of his skull in a Sharlyan setting. Heliox, similarly, is not a student - he would try more than Rijun, but he's easily distractible. I think both would be able to steamroll through if they needed, but they wouldn't be particularly happy about it.
WOLQOTD - Scars!
Does your OC/Muse/WoL have any notable scars?
How did they get it?
How do they feel about it, does it bother them, do they feel proud of it, maybe sad about it?

For non-wols: what kind of legends have your OC heard about the WoL? Do they believe in them?
for WoLs: What legends have you heard people make about you? Are they true?
NON WOLS:
J'zara: He'd heard some few mumblings about the adventurer known as Heliox when he was living in Ul'dah âstories of the boy singlehandedly defeating a primal, and of taking on an entire group of angry Amal'jaa without killing a single one â but he'd ultimately paid them little mind, focusing ever more on his studies of Belah'dia and his own work with the Scions, aiding them in his own way with both research and a mending hand when it was required. However, once Heliox joined the Scions, and the two worked together a few times, J'zara began to understand the rumours. Even for being as small as he was (under 5 fulms at the time), Heliox's personality dominated the room when he wanted it to. Eventually, he even began to believe them - especially when the man (for he was a man, and not the boy J'zara had assumed him to be) confirmed in person a scant few of the tales.
Rijun met Heliox FAR later in life - well, met him in his capacity as the WoL.* As such, the rumors surrounding him were far, far taller than they had been for Zara - in fact they were mountainous, claiming such things as him being the closest friend of the Doman Emperor, of him having by himself alone having driven the Garlean threat out of both Eorzea but also of his nearer neighbors in the East. Rijun put little and less stock into them - such tales were often overblown, and Rijun thought of him with no large amount of respect. For Rijun, respect was earned, and he hadn't seen for himself the 'battlefield prowess' of the warrior of light - thus, as far as he was concerned, such a thing didn't exist. That is, until in his capacity as a member of Lente's Tears, assisting the Bozjan Resistance, he aided in battle the WoL, and saw for himself just how little the rumors were exaggerated.
WOL:
Heliox is HORRIBLY embarrassed by the legends surrounding himself - and more than a little annoyed by it. DRK is a canon class for him, and the events are canon - the overreliance of people on him and him alone was part of the reason for his breakdown during the Dragonsong War. Most of the 'legends' are like a game of telephone - simply stories of a true event happening that people blew far out of proportion down the grapevine. Nowadays, he doesn't let it get under his skin so badly, but he does often tire of the illusion people have of him, rather than the reality of who he truly is. (On some level, he is glad for the mythos, thoughâever the wanderer. He doesn't often get immediately recognized if he's not in his general armour or battlefield attire, and he can roam the streets relatively easily.)
