Sometimes I really want to take everyone under the age of 24 (as of 2026) by the shoulders and say:

"I'm really sorry that lockdown and the ongoing pandemic interrupted pivotal educational and social/emotional development moments for you. You have an uphill battle towards adjusting to a lot of community based efforts because you experienced a mass trauma during an incredibly important time in your life where you should have physically been around your peers learning to engage in shared community. There is no "but" here, I'm genuinely really sorry. Something many of us consider key points in our interpersonal growth as youths was taken from you, not without reason but without care for its impact on you. I hope you know we are eternally allies in our struggles and if that is something you struggle to know I hope you can learn it someday."

Because so many of the angriest, most disenfranchised people I see on this website are under 24 and I often try to put younger people's behavior in the context of where they might have been 2020. I've seen the impact on my siblings and their peers+friends first hand, all ages 18-24. We've talked about how its impacted them, the isolation, the attachment to the internet, the anxieties and phobias and fears it developed in them due to the pandemic, the political unrest, and the responses to both that we've seen since. I know they're not the only ones and I know how much being marginalized also influences that impact too.

It's terrifying. I know it must be terrifying for a lot of the young people on Tumblr too. I hope one day we're able to bridge all of those complex feelings into something collective and positive so we can do our best to prevent similar traumas from happening to future generations.

1) Their impression of MC was devout worship. MC had found them behind the stage in a secret room. Heirus used to DETEST humans even if they were a fan favorite. But now? After so many years? If you think Jestyn is bad with his devotion, be ready for Heirus. They will practically ask for MC's hand in marriage as soon as they were found. (This is also to regain establishment over their kingdom.)

2) Correct! Jestyn has been by Heirus' side for the longest of times. He would help them through their panic attacks and meltdowns. He was the one to suggest they dance together as a way of them discussing their emotions. Through movement and music! When Crownus disappeared, it wasn't long before Heirus disappeared as well, hiding in the guts of the theatre's walls. Upon returning, Jestyn and Heirus were.... strained in their relationship, to say the least. Jestyn felt betrayed that they would leave just like thst. However, over time, they work together and find that footing in a friendship again.

3) With hobbies, Heirus LOVES studying the stars and being able to learn astronomy. Space, overall, is their biggest fixation. Baking and cooking are another of their hobbies. With likes; Books, pastries, calculus, science, and violins. With dislikes; Loud noises, bright lights, strong smells, incense, Knighter, and being compared to Crownus.

Heirus (They/She) has finally been drawn and given a look. The heiress of Crownus' kingdom. They were made by Crownus' very hand when the theatre was 20 years into its business. They were a crowd favorite for their rebellion against the crown and being Jestyn's best friend.

When the rumors of Crownus' betrayal to the kingdom, Heirus did not believe one bit of it. At least, they didn't want to. Knighter and them got into an argument that ended with him getting a large gash in his chest and their face being 2/3 broken.

For those wondering what their anatomy is like, they have a cloaca-like entrance which has tentacles hidden inside. They can extrude with what look to be spikes, but are to give stimulation and feel like rubber.

Oh boy, Glitch's done it again.

deadfoot is one of my favorite windclan cats!! i love him! i love that hes a strong capable deputy but is also kind of silly and friendly!!!!! and that tallstar was his mentor and biggest supporter its SO GOOD!! i wish so badly he became leader, deadstar also sounds so badass.

isn't it kind of strange that personal space is a thing in multiplayer minecraft? or that people tend to looking at each other's characters when they talk to each other?

these things don't fulfill the inherent social functions they have in person. there is are no facial expressions you're missing if you don't look at the other person's minecraft character. there is no functional difference between standing right next to someone and standing 3-4 blocks away, you're no impeding them in any way

yet people do it anyway. they keep a few block distance between each other. they look at each other when talking, whether it's by going afk with the cursor on the other person or by tracking their idle movement

which gives us these moments where they close that distance or exaggerate the eye contact and suddenly it means something, because it's different! this thing that has no difference in game mechanics, gains meaning through the social conventions. crouching at each other and staring at each other. bumping into the other player. standing right next to a player until slightly nudging them

and that evolves, like real society! it's not something i recall happening that much 10-15 years ago. proximity chat likely has something to do with it, giving the distance some slight game-mechanical meaning and also making the character feel more like a manifestation of the other person instead of simply an object in the game while you were chatting on skype. it pulls people deeper into the game world, increases the immersion and suddenly we have body language in a game where your only ways to manipulate the body are the way it's facing, walking, jumping and crouching. if you want to call it body language there's also the item you're holding - or the two items, in modern minecraft. it's incredible how much of a language can be built with such primitive tools
