We live in a world where everyone seems to have an answer. At parties, on podcasts, on social media, in comment sections...people speak with absolute certainty about things they barely understand. Sometimes they’re sincere. Sometimes they’re guessing. Sometimes they’re just talking because silence feels uncomfortable.

“Smoke Signals” is about all that noise.

It’s about the endless opinions, borrowed wisdom, self-appointed experts, gurus, preachers, and prophets of everyday life. The funny thing is, most of us are doing the same thing: trying to make sense of a world that doesn’t come with instructions.

This song isn’t really judging anyone. It’s more of an observation. Beneath all the certainty, we’re all just guessing our way through.
