Does it Matter?
There are common questions we are all asked and that we are all guilty of asking. But have any of us thought about how telling these answers truly are? Do you really know someone from the answers?
Here are some common questions one may be asked:
Where do you work? I have known doctors who are loving and kind but I have also known ones that cheat and lie.
What college did you attend? I have known college graduates who have absolutely no work ethic and have nowhere to live. I have known high school and college dropouts who have an amazing work ethic and have their own businesses.
Are you married? i have met happily married couples who cheat on each other and fight. I’v met couples who have been together for 20 years and not married who are happier than ever.
What type of car do you drive? i know millionaires that drive a prius and people who work in retail who drive BMW’s.
How much money do you make? i know millionaires that live pay check to pay check. i know teachers who have enough money saved up to live comfortably for the rest of their lives.
How old are you? I know 50 year old women who drink daily and never get out of bed. I know 21 year olds who get up at 5am to get to their full-time jobs.
Do you have children? i know parents who neglect their children. I know people who have nieces and nephew who take them out all of the time to provide them with love and educate them.
Where do you live? I know people in Los Angeles who support Trump. I also know people in the south who are liberal.
What do these questions really tell you about someone? Do they tell you anything about the person? I don’t think they really do.
