Why do I keep attracting older men with Venus in 10th house

Hello darling~ ✨

Well, Venus in 10th/Capricorn Venus/Venus-Saturn aspects usually attracts older ppl (yet not always this attraction is mutual).

Usually this happens because the native is mature but appears somewhat innocent, lost or inexperienced. Your placements tends to attract ppl or experience that will help you become more yourself. So older ppl usually appreciate you more (even sexually...yes kinda creepy to some of us) because usually this placements struggle with low self-esteem or image/persona. Also they like to teach you, give you new perspectives or help you with your projects (usually life path or work). They may be like a trampoline for a better successful you. But it's not always like this, there's a negative side too. Older ppl that sexually abuse or use you, that lie or cheat on you, or exploits your persona and talents for their personal gain. To say it briefly, it's our destiny, their presence is needed in our life for our personal growth may it have a good or ill influence on us.

P.s. growing up though I've seen a reverse result; the older we get the more we're attracted to younger ppl. We like to teach, guide and help younger friends or lovers.

What I have learned being a mother...

It is important to discipline your child when they misbehave. But I believe it is even more crucial to give that child reasonable insight as to why the adult made that decision.

Refusing to explain to a curious child about your reasoning for disciplinary actions or why they aren’t allowed to do things can no longer be chalked up to “because I’m the adult.” This will forever be subconsciously engrained in their minds that adults abuse their power & they are unworthy of an explanation- thus authority figure’s are not to be trusted.

They will grow up to be adults that will be afraid to ask questions in their relationships or even abuse their authority over others. Please do better.

Bonus: if this is how you operate, your child will be a Leo ♌️. Why? Bad Study Advice: 3 hrs per credit hr?

When I was a freshman in university my first and second year advisor told me that studying 3 hours per credit hour per week is an adequate amount of studying.

I had 15 credit hours at the time. That would mean I’d have to study for 45 hours a week. Which is just under two days of studying. Divide that over 7 days and it’s about 6.5 hours of studying a day.

Maybe this sounds a little realistic to some of you. Okay, you’d go to class for 2-3 hrs, spend the rest of the night in the library. Maybe you could get away with doing that much studying on one day, a Sunday afternoon where you don’t have any plans. But for everyday is incredibly unrealistic. When you are in university/college, you are going to have friends that want to spend time with you doing things other than studying. You are going to get mentally drained from studying and you are going to want time to yourself to relax and watch tv. Studying for over 6 hours a day is just not possible.

After tracking my weekly study habits, as a senior in university I usually only spent 1 hour per credit hour studying, sometimes even way less. My course load was a bit lighter this semester but even as a first or second year, never did I study for 45 hours a week, let alone 40. It’s recommended for law and med students (people already in med school, not pre-meds) that they study 30-40 hours a week, which is still less than the advice I was given as a freshman in uni.

Trying to study for too much time will only lead to burnout.

So how much time should you study for?

Do all that you need to in one week plus a bit of extra studying each week for each class in preparation for exams, and create a base average weekly study time from that.

Using a timer and track how much time you studied for in one session can help you create this average weekly time. I use the Forest app.

You might need to study more for harder classes, so realize you’re going to be spending more time on those classes over your easy ones.

There’s no perfect algorithm such as the advice I was given as a freshman.

i feel like studyblr and study videos on yt tend to glorify studying insane amounts of time. i know some don't have any choice but to study that much but it makes me so sad this is becoming the standard. there should be so much more to life. and we shouldn't have to feel guilty for not studying 7 hrs a day. what kind of life is that
