hm. do you think funtime foxy's mechanic in ucn could have relevance outside of establishing his personality as an attention hungry showman, under funtimeaftons? you have to check on him at the exact time of his performance, "not a moment before, and not a moment later". yknow, like how the bite couldve possibly been prevented if afton had checked on his sons for once - isn't it funny how it's such simplified, faulty reasoning, too? "if only i had been there at the right time, it all could've been avoided, none of this would've happened" - but the bite wasn't a result of william not making it to the "show" at the exact hour, it was the result of his chronic absence & neglect. of course it's so much easier to "blame" yourself for failing to do something that was nearly impossible to accomplish, like checking on them at the exact time michael decided to pull the greatest prank of '83, instead of actually properly reflecting on your parenting failures, admitting guilt and taking accountability.

wish there was more discussion of Henry and mike in FFPS where Mike DOESN'T know the plan.. because canonically he doesn't. Henry lied to him. And I just think that's very interesting. We know that Mike is a "brave volunteer" who apparently stumbled onto this job on accident, but when did Henry realize who it was? if it was before the last day, why didn't he feel like he should tell Mike what the deal was? Did Henry not trust him? Did he feel guilty for leading him on this long? Did he just assume Michael would be cool with it the same way he assumes Michael is ok dying? Because that's another thing!! even if he was right and mike was ready to die, this was NOT Henry's call to make and he made it anyway. Michael was just another loose end to tie up. he doesn't even say Michael's NAME. he won't address him even to his face. How must that feel? I wonder...

Fact that Mike is able to accurately sketch Nightmare Fredbear in the logbook after all those years makes me wonder if Mike used to draw the Nightmares A Lot back when he first had them. Which is funny to think about, considering William in TSE is mentioned to have wrote obsessively over his envy and admiration for Henry. To think there was a time after 1983 where father and son were living under one roof, where one was filling journals ranting about every little thing his business partner did while the other is filling sketchbooks with these horrible nightmarish versions of Fazbear Entertainment mascots. You think a teacher confiscated one of Mike's sketchbooks and showed it to William during a conference like "We Are Concerned About How Your Son Has Been Coping After the Incident"? You think William just had to sit there and nod along while thinking in the back of his head "No One Can Learn About My Weird Coping Mechanism"?

imagine if after the bite afton told everyone mike was getting sent off to one of those "troubled teen industry" facilities, but he stuck him in the nightmare experiment chambers instead. with how unregulated and downright evil those places were (are) nobody would bat an eye when mike disappeared for a couple of months and came back in a broken state.
