Resting upon his futon, back flush against the warm blanket and a singular arm tucked behind his head, Shoto pondered what he would do for this predicament. In his hand was an uncrumpled slip of paper with a singular name written on it,  緑谷出久. Earlier, their female classmates had gathered them all in the lounge to draw for Secret Santa. Todoroki had chosen his rival and friend, Midoriya.

Standing, he shoved the paper in his pajama pants pocket and moved to the hall. He pointedly walked to Izuku’s door, his fist hesitating before he finally rapped against the wood. His best option was to set up a shopping trip with Midoriya and see what he liked so he’d have a better idea on what to get him. Not only that, he could possibly find something for Fuyumi and his mother, too.

"you know, todoroki-kun, maybe you should—ah, here," reaching out, izuku was careful when ruffling shouto's bangs till white and red blended together evenly, and then brushed the strands to the side so shouto's eyes wouldn't be entirely covered. satisfied with his work, izuku pulled back with a grin and a nod, "i knew it! it looks really nice, like, when you mix the two colors together!"

“What are you up to? Ah—” the teen was cut off as fingers tousled his hair. His hands rose slightly in surprise, but he remained still to let his friend do his work. Confusion lapped at his brain, wondering just what he was up to. When all was said and done, Shoto finally reached up to hold a bit of his bangs between digits. With his limited vision it seemed…pink? “Does it really look okay like this? That bastard will probably have something to say about it.” His line of vision had improved, though.
