Scorpius wasnât meant to be placed in Slytherin. He asked to be. Too afraid to disappoint his family, he knew that being put into Gryffindor would come as a giant surprise and although his parents were much more accepting and open minded now than they used to be, this didnât take away his fear of disappointing them in the end.
Growing up, he was not a dedicated student. Sometimes things donât click at first and he used to beat himself up constantly for it. Heâs smart but he has to work for it. Nothing ever comes naturally.
Heâs not what comes to mind when you think of a Malfoy. Â Heâs a very patient person and he tends to not put himself in the spotlight although he can be ruthless if provoked. Heâs very guarded because people usually already have an expectation of what heâs supposed to be and itâs far from who he is. He doesnât trust people enough to give them the benefit of a doubt anymore.Â
Most times people think heâs stuck up because he guards himself so closely but the truth is that he just hates being painted as something he isnât and he just doesnât have the patience for it anymore.Â
Heâs never gotten along with his grandparents. Especially his grandfather because he disagrees with the old ideals about blood purity. He thinks theyâre stupid and he understands why now muggleborns and those alike are fighting back. Thereâs been too many years of having to deal with that mentality and eventually people get tired of it but he doesnât agree the possible resort to violence and going back to when muggles used to try to kill wix. Their feelings are understandable but their actions are not acceptable.Â
He doesnât care for traditionalism and embraces technology as it makes things easier for him and easier to keep his life organized.
In the long run, he doesnât care what people think of him. Not many people have a positive image of the Malfoy name and he doesnât really let that affect him anymore. Most people had thought heâd go on to be an auror or a hit wizard. Something in the ministry to carry on that tradition but Scorpius knew if he did that, heâd be miserable. He spent most of his Hogwarts days being miserable and heâs over it.Â
However, at the end of the day although he wonât directly admit it, he wants nothing more than to make his parents proud.
When you first meet him, heâs a little quiet and he likes to keep to himself but when you manage to get him to open up then heâs an open book who loves to make people laugh.Â
Heâs recovering from an eating disorder. During Hogwarts, he had a really hard time with body dysmorphia which led to anorexia. This amplified when he tried to join Quidditch and failed. He figured maybe he wasnât strong enough or maybe he wasnât fit enough. It got really bad for a while where his health was at risk but he was able to finally reach out for help. Heâs not where he used to be but he still has a long way to go.Â
It had been a while since heâd seen the other. Really, he knew that telling him it was to get him out and away from work would make Scorpius not want to come so he lied. Lysander paused a moment, staring into the window of one of the shops. âThatâs.. a good question.â he stated, tapping his fingers against his leg. The boy let out a sigh. âI just wanted to get you out of the house, honestly, and this seemed like a good excuse to me at the time,â he admitted. Lysander wasnât ever good at lying. He always felt guilty, no matter the reasoning. To him, no reason was ever a good reason to lie though.
It wasnât like Lysander was someone that Scorpius could easily get mad at. So he didnât take it too personal or to heart when he said that it was a means to get him out. He had been rather busy at work and if he was being honest, being away from work was a breath of air. Although, his choice was usually his house which Lysander was right. He should go out more and try to relax a bit. âYou know you could have just asked? I wouldnât have said no to you.â

Scorpius had finally finished up his charts as he figured heâd go and bother Rose. It was a beautiful day out and from what he had seen, neither her nor him had any where assigned for them to go just yet. It was a rare opportunity but not one that he was willing to pass up. He knocked on her door a couple times, âMaking sure to knock before coming in since last time you said I nearly gave you a heart attack.â He said with a laugh.Â
Scorpius had never been someone who celebrated Halloween. Heâs just always sorta gone along with his friends if they wanted to go out on that night because picking out a costume was always a pain in the ass. He looked around at the shops that they were going to and then back at his friend, âSo.. with everything going on, Halloween is still a thing or did that get cancelled?âÂ

âughâŚâ amelie muttered under her breath, a deep sigh leaving her lips just moments after. she had dropped her belongings as she was waiting for the bus to go home after work, but got pushed by a tween - probably not on purpose, of course, but what did it matter? the contents of her purse got scattered along the sidewalk.
as she was picking up her belongings one by one, the bus arrived⌠but she wasnât done just yet. once she looked up, the bus was already gone. the last bus home. âgod fucking dammit.â she noticed someone was beside her, and without turning around, she scoffed because she felt as though they were staring at her. âmind your own business, would you?â
Scor didnât really recognize her at first. One would think he could as they were cousins after all but he hadnât really spoken to her much lately. Work had been keeping him occupied among other things. He had been allowed to come work a shift at a muggle hospital to see the differences and had just been allowed to leave. He wasnât sure if they were as advanced as they were when it came to medicine but only time would tell at this point.Â
âSorry. I didnât mean to intrude but I was just wondering if youâre alright?âÂ
