Iâm VERY excited to show you the back cover of Speak Now (my version) including the vault tracks and collaborations with Hayley Williams from Paramore and Fall Out Boy. Since Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album. Theyâre so cool and generous for agreeing to support my version of Speak Now. I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and canât wait to unveil it all to you on July 7th http://store.taylorswift.com

Common Issues for Ex JWs
The more I look through posts and stories of other ex JWs that are dealing with life outside the cult thinking they were raised in, Iâve come to the realization of just how common my own issues are to them.
The lack of self esteem, the unwanted guilt, the anxiety, the feeling of âwhy even try, itâs not worth itâ; all of that can be traced back to how the JW religion conditions and brainwashes itâs members. Itâs both a cold comfort and haunting to me, knowing I am not alone in this.
I try not to think about it too much, but what I canât stop thinking about is the âwhat ifâ. What if I wasnât raised like that and was allowed to do normal things for a kid and teen? What if I was allow to focus on my own goals and dreams without having someone telling me it wasnât worth it, because everything was going to be destroyed by God (Jehovah) in the end anyway? What if I was allowed to spend all the time I could on what I wanted to do when I got older without having unnecessary guilt and shame mixed in for no other reason then to control me for the cultâs own purposes?
The answer to all this is I donât know. In fact, itâs more like Iâll never know, because that chance was taken from me. The best years of my life were stolen from me, all because my own mother couldnât see the dangers of the religion she had decided was a good idea to become a part of, and in connection made her own children become a part of it.
Itâs not as simple as getting over it as some might think, because like I mentioned before, itâs a form of brainwashing that starts at a young age, and it only gets worst as you get older. When you start to ask questions and see something was just not right, thatâs when the guilt and shame begin, and you either fall for it and become trapped, or fake your way though until you have the chance to escape. Itâs something I wish had more attention in media, because last time I checked there are over seven million JWs around the world, and Iâm sure a good chunk of those people are children that have no say or choice in the matter; children who will be raised with a narrow-minded view of the world, and if they are lucky enough to escape, theyâre going to spend the rest of their life just getting used to a world they should have been ready for by the time they were old enough to live on their own.
As cheesy as this might sound, they become like orphans to the world; having to get used to ânormalâ ways of life, and thus being at a disadvantage overall.
saying gay people deserve to die is not kindness it is THE LITERAL FUCKING DEFINITION OF HOMOPHOBIA

Two of THE most talented people this world has ever known and we're lucky enough to be alive at the same time as them
I wanna say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you donât let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where youâre going, you will look around and youâll know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world
ill literally never shut up about the way halsey defended the heck out of taylor. so many artists didnt say anything. so many artists just liked or retweeted taylorâs tweet. but halsey spoke out, and then spoke out again, and then spoke out again. she gracefully and clearly articulated her stance on what is happening to taylor. and then taylor invited her to perform on stage during one of her most important performances of her life. she praised her during one of her acceptance speeches and they were the first to hug each other when they won. taylor and halsey have shown us what female friendships can and often do look like repeatedly these last few weeks. i love them so much and they both deserve all the awards and all the love
