The truth is that Iâm a bad person. But, thatâs gonna change - Iâm going to change. This is the last of that sort of thing. Now Iâm cleaning up and Iâm moving on, going straight and choosing life. Iâm looking forward to it already. Iâm gonna be just like you. The job, the family, the fucking big television. The washing machine, the car, the compact disc and electric tin opener, good health, low cholesterol, dental insurance, mortgage, starter home, leisure wear, luggage, three piece suite, DIY, game shows, junk food, children, walks in the park, nine to five, good at golf, washing the car, choice of sweaters, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption, clearing gutters, getting by, looking ahead, the day you die.

Academy Award Winners for Best Cinematography: 2022 â Greig Fraser, ACS, ASC Dune (2021) Directed by Denis Villeneuve Aspect Ratio: 2.39 : 1
Desert colors dominate throughout the movie, but Fraser, [production designer Patrice] Vermette and costume designer Jacqueline West went to great lengths to imbue that palette with subtle and organic variations of color. âWe worked very hard to make sure the world of Dune was not monochromatic,â Fraser says. âFor example, Patrice worked veins of reds and blues into the sand walls. He â and Jacqueline, who built these subtle gradations of color into the costumes â both did wonderfully subtle work, and I had to make sure we were capturing those subtleties.â
âMy approach was to pull as much color as possible out of non-colorful situations,â he continues. âIt was all subtle differences, not necessarily bold color contrasts. Achieving bold color in film is super easy. Achieving depth [in the image while creating a natural-light look] when youâre working with a digital sensor and digital lights is harder than it might first appear.â â The American Society of Cinematographers, January 2022

For I am the daughter of Elrond. I shall not go with him when he departs to the Havens: for mine is the choice of LĂșthien, and as she so have I chosen, both the sweet and the bitter.
