Introduction
Okay, I decided to finally give in and make a sideblog for my tennis/figure skating rambles 🤧
To give some background info, I've been a figure skating fan since 2015, when I first saw Zhenya's River Flows in You sp and was awed. Unfortunately, I've been a big fan of the Russian girls ever since, and not even the trauma of Beijing could kill my love for them 😔 (I have learned to never get attached to an Eteri girl ever again, though).
I mostly watch juniors, and I've adopted too many daughters to name, but my top favs are Kostyleva, Shuxian, Dzepka, Elina, Alice Smith, Solntseva, Vadim Voronov, and soon to be junior Karin Miyazaki. For seniors, my favs are Ilia, Isabeau, Mone, Mura, and Zhilina.
As for tennis, I only got into that last year, but I've quickly accumulated lots of favs. Top 5 for the WTA would have to be Lena, Mirra, Naomi, Qinwen, Ekat. As for the atp, I only really care about Andrey 💀 but I've developed a bit of a soft spot for Foki after that painful DC final loss.
