Home studio or multi-million dollar studio, it should look as good as it sounds! And more than that it should reflect your personality a little bit, in a way that wont make guests feel out of place. Colorful christmas lights all around the room are my personality and mixing style summed up visually.

Recorded a band the whole weekend, it came out sounding kick ass and was absolutely crazy. One of my best experiences this summer. Also, recording vocals without pants is the only way to do it right!

Just had an awesome recording session/reunion with a friend from college! This guy has one of the best voices I've ever heard. Nothing is better than doing top notch work with top notch musicians.

Youtube videos are seriously the best way to get noticed or go viral with your music. Make a lyric video, or a music video, or even a picture and song. Better yet, throw in some exciting titles and tags. Cover the internet with your music and you're bound to get lucky!

Ethics vs recording

You want awesome sound right? Well, ethics aren't usually how to get there. Do whatever sounds good, and I mean anything. Why wouldn't you?

Despite the fact that my life away from college is pretty lonely and awkward, I love it because I get to work my ass off on some awesome music.

The hardest part of making an album, in my case at least, is making it long enough. 10 songs and only 23 minutes of material... I guess it's time to write some epic 6 minute songs to finish it off!
