i think peter’s story reflects rusty’s a little in the way that they both begin their stories as kitty pets who become acquainted with clan cats, however peter more or less lives as a rogue and doesn’t fully assimilate. he’s torn between being a pseudo-warrior to the fantastic four’s and living a much softer life (with his neighbor cat being mj, another kittypet)

Okay I just submitted a poll about donating blood and so many people in the notes are bringing up various reasons for why they haven’t donated and I wanted to give a quick psa!

1: if you are in the United States, it is totally okay for gay and trans people to donate blood! There may be other extenuating circumstances, like if you are HIV positive or are taking certain medications, but don’t count yourself out just because you’re gay or trans!

2: you don’t have to be 18 to donate! It differs by state, but I’ve been donating blood since I was 16. Make sure to look up the guidelines in your state! (Again, this is for the u.s.)

If you aren’t sure about your eligibility, definitely check with the Red Cross website or give them a call! If there aren’t donation centers near you, stay updated on blood drives coming to your area! Giving blood, plasma, or platelets saves lives every day and is one of the best ways to do your part.

It's nuts how common it is to not allow children to be angry, even (especially) in households where adults are angry all the time. As a child I knew my own anger was unacceptable--not just expressing it outwardly but feeling it at all. So now as an adult my immediate reaction to my own anger is often to feel guilt instead of like. Noticing when someone is being rude or unfair or my boundaries are being violated or whatever. fucked up.
