halo everynyan! how are you? fine, thank you. well, not fine actually, which is why i’m making this post. due to personal circumstances, i do not think i can continue maintaining this blog anymore, and do not have the time nor energy to write anymore. this really sucks, because there are some of you i haven’t written with, while i really wanted to. i will keep this blog around as an archive, but i will log out. i don’t think i will be around on discord either. perhaps in the future i will ever make a new writing blog, and i will find you again to write with you, but for now, i don’t think i have it in me to be around. i don’t really feel like explaining the circumstances, neither do i wish for any sympathy or something, this is just purely to announce it. feel free to break mutuals with this blog, and i’m very, very sorry.

thinking about revy. . . thinking about how she tells herself that she doesn’t crave a normal, mundane life. how she tells herself how she was meant for this life, even if her life had gone a different way. how she desperately tries to keep rock away from this way of living. she’s got a ‘decent’ life now — she’s got a good enough reputation to not have people mess with her, she’s got skills to be proud of — so anytime she even imagines herself in another life, without a gun, not having to place herself before death’s door, revy needs to stop thinking altogether. shoot it out at a practice range, go beat up some thugs who owe her money. if she admits she wants a life different than this, then all that suffering would have been for nothing.
