THEY ARE SO 🥺🥹😭💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I'm glad all of the Scrappy people are finding my post about him. He IS just a lil guy (a lil fella) who will kick a ghost's ass to protect his uncle and his friends and We Support Him
Sorry about my awful, awful, beloved nephew and that he keeps trying to fight you. Please do not actually fight him.
He's not awful. He's perfect in every way!! Still cute art though!!
A little guy
This is a warning to all living mortals that whosoever opens this chest of demons…

I can't believe it a pullover shirt I found at Walmart that has Scrappy-Doo on it!!
HE’S JUST A BOY!!!!!!!
Baby!!!
I honestly could not care less about whether Scrappy could talk better than Scooby.
And somehow, not to speak for everyone else, somehow I think that the sizeable amount of people whom the network was basing their content off of, as they always have, and always will, for all cartoons, weren’t terribly hot and bothered either. Scooby could talk. Great! Scrappy could talk better? No big deal. I wasn’t worried about who talked how.
Scrappy’s character…, well there were lots of rich little tidbits about Scrappy for anyone who had a moment to pay attention to him. He loved Scooby, his polar opposite. Adored him-thought he hung the moon.
He grew up in a poor neighborhood in New York and had two best friends named Duke and Annie.
Perhaps that was why he was so excited and delighted by everything-he had started with nothing, and now was enchanted by everything.
He was enchanted by everything-a happier little soul you would be hard-pressed to find.
I could go on, about how Scrappy was like the gifted child who nobody realized was gifted because of his ADHD …Scrappy did never quite fit in. It was part of his character! He was different. It showed in how he thought and acted-he was that quirky kid, who was a little too loud and a little too off-kilter. A kid who kids like ME could relate too!
I could go on about how he saved the show…I could go on about how he seemed to crave validation…
But mostly, I just want to say that I think that the Poochie episode was just made to appeal to the increasing amount of people who didn’t like Scrappy at the time.
That was the trend. Everything is done for money in the entertainment world! It doesn’t matter WHY the art is made, but WHAT impact it has on you! Thus the poochie episode is literally just satirizing the origin story of many cartoons [including the origin of the Scooby franchise as a whole itself, which was done to appeal to parent watch groups], and just showing one way any cartoon can go wrong.
This security guard is SOOOOO good at his job!
I liked Scrappy when I was a kid and I still do now. I get that he might seem annoying to some people but like
leave him alone. He's puppy
every time i look at the mystery gang i have this like visceral feeling that someone is missing. but nobody ever is. who are they. what happened to them
logically i know this is them. these are the only people in the mystery gang. fred, daphne, velma, shaggy, and scooby. thats the 5 of them. but something deep within my lizard brain is telling me theres a 6th member that has been, for unknown reasons, banished from this timeline and our collective memory as a species
s͡҉͚͓͚͇̱̫͙́c̴̱̥̪̘̮̀r̸̵̨̺̝̹͈̗̠̬̟͉̹̬͇͖͙͕͎̜͉á̦͎͉̫̗͔̝̲͔͢͢͞p̶̢̭͍͈͍̻͇̬͓̮̙͉̪̻̰͉̪̻̗͡p̸̴̸̢̰̪̥͍̩̦̱̱̦͓͙͇͎̤͕̳y̧̠̟̟̟̤̗̲͚̙̪̮̺̱̯͔̱̗͘͠ ̷̥͉̰͔̩̤̯͕̲̩̦̝̦̬̙̲̜̣̥́͝d͏̧͝͏̰͓̜ͅo͕̣͎͚̫̟͎̕ò̴̥̦͙̟̹̦̣͙͇̞͖̘̺͙͜
Its because of this gap between shaggy and daphne. Everyone else is touching in some way and it looks like daphne should be leaning on someone too, but they’ve been edited out and daphne has been moved along.
I know who it is.
These are the early designs of Mystery Inc. but consider the boy in the lower left corner.
“He could be Shaggy’s early analogue”
No, because Shaggy was specifically based on Maynard G. Krebs from The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis and was meant to do so from the beginning. Maynard G. Krebs is a popular character and so it would be natural to capitalize on that if they were going off of him from the beginning. This boy doesn’t look a thing like Maynard G. Krebs or like any kind of beatnik. Not even close! So who is this mysterious fifth member?
This is a picture of the old pitch. However, there are actually six members of Mystery Inc.
The title is referring to the five humans. Number six was the dog.
This child is younger then the others and based on the positioning of his left arm and the arm of the girl next to him, he’s clearly holding hands with her.
And if you’ve ever wondered why Daphne was like a big sister to Scrappy, maybe now you know why.
We all know who the six members is.

He is a very good boy!!
