Doggo does a Bobbin

Working on practising animations so I tried to make an animated version of a previous drawing. Really liked how it came out, though I think that I might be able to improve the winking effect more.

A fun drawing that I finally finished from back at the start of the year. Really like how the colours and framing of the drawing came out.

Punch It!

Another animation practice that I made. Tried to work with a person shape and to create some dynamic movement. I think it turned out alright but I still have a lot to learn when it comes to animation.

Doggo Does a Winkin

A Drawing that I made to practice drawing cute things. I generally go for a more cartoony look since I like using outlines rather than shading, however, I can struggle to make cuter things with more curves and without reference. Really like how this one came out and even had a go using gradients which don’t often get to use.

Double Choc Fudge Brownies

Some more baking that I did earlier in the year. Really love the recipe for brownies that I managed to find.

Clear Sky

A picture I took while in Thailand. There were a lot of times when looking from my balcony that I was taken away by how nice the colours were during sunsets so I took many a picture, but was most happy with this one.

ANU MakerSpace Posters

Some posters I made for a visual design class. I’m really proud of how the different machine designs came out in the end, it was really fun looking at reference and recreating a simpler version of the machines and then trying to show it through the limited colour palette.

A Picture I took whilst on a plane trip. I’m not too impressed with it but I really like how the colours look, wish I could get a not trash camera.

Another animation test where I experimented with squash and stretch. Not much to say about this one other than that it is kinda unsettling.

Sunset

A picture I took whilst on a bike ride. Always loved how the sunset looked from my normal bike route so I took a little detour to get a shot that I’m finally happy with.

A drawing that I made where I tried to go for something different. I really like the minimalist look that it has as well as how the outline of the paper is shown through their shadow. Definitely wouldn’t mind experimenting with the effect in the future.

Turkish Pide Pizza

A Turkish Pide that I made earlier in the year. This was my attempt at making something that was more savoury compared to the usual sweets that I make. I’m really happy with how this turned out compared to other savoury meals I’ve tried making in the past and would love to make some more in the future.

A quick animation test that I made. Animation is something that I’m definitely weaker at compared to drawing or baking so I’m trying to improve upon it a lot.

Potted Plant

A quick little sketch that I fancied up. I’m not very good at drawing from imagination which is something I want to improve upon, but I will sometimes just doodle random plants and liked the look of this one.

A picture I took while I was in Sydney. Really love taking landscape photos, but don’t get the opportunity to take them often. Hopefully one day I can also get a proper camera without selling my kidney.

Italian Custard Puffs

A photo of the custard puffs that I made earlier in the year. I’ve really enjoyed baking a lot, but haven’t had the opportunity to do so due to classes. Hope to make some more soon!!
