Well...nothing was happenening near the Berserker at least So his attention went all over the place

Trying to follow the conversation, waiting for chances to attack, so on and so fourth

And then he came near him And the Berserker focused on him for a few moments

Something within him recognized that expression

He wanted to punch it

But he didn’t. He was an ally after all. Or so Berserker had gathered There was that one time when the master was taken by him if the memory was correct But he didn’t anyway

That somber face...

He Wanted To Punch It

But he didn’t know why. The Mad Enhancement was a terrible thing for memories of far times, so it may had been one he hadn’t fully been able to connect What he did however do was replicate an earlier action, that is slap the Rider on the back with a bit more force then needed. No one really reacted much to that, so it should be better then a punch

Behave like a good boy.

Words They were not very helpful when under Mad Enhancement, except for Master’s Esspecially under sitations like this, which could be described as bloodlust Words, words, words, he could feel a few were directed toward him, but he couldn’t fully recognize the meaning No one seemed to be attacking though, so Berserker waited to see what happens

And, aside from a moment of odd excitement when the master took out a weapon, the sitation seemed to end well Or so it seemed for a few moments

D i d  h e  j u s t  t o u c h  h i m ? And so carelessly at that Can he puch him? Can he stab him? Can he brake him? Can he wrestle him? No... Well, yes But he understood somehow that he shouldn’t But he still demanded payback There was only one thing to do

Berserker turned to the man who gave him a pat on the back and started to glare with all the force of a collapsed star Luckily, his vizor couldn’t get that bright So he settled for an eye-aching bright glow instead to try and blind the man for a few moments if not forever

Obvious enemies in front of him In front of them Of course, he had no actual way of fully understanding the sitation nor circumstances

But he was still able to sense underline tones An almost animlal-like instinct Threatening tones had been coming from both sides, yet the master’s was calm

Berserker waited mostly in silence, save for a few noises of shuffling armor as he readujsted himself a few times If everyone else was figuratively waiting to jump against eachother at the slightest provocation, then the Mad Knight was doing it literally He was prepared to blindly charge into combat as his class was essentionally expected to do But he waited There was still a chance the falling slowballs wouldn’t cause an avalanche

Berserker did nothing wrong

That was his only observation at the lack of others from others He was unnoticably happy about it He was very much covered afterall, so things like that tend to go over heads He did not however add the obvious ‘Yet’

Still, new people came New fun

The world seemed to freeze for but a moment, even if just for him It was a primal instinct, thus it had been left Food And he was wearing a helmet, which even through his madness he recognized would impede aquiring food And there were new people

“aaaaaaar”

A small angry-dog-growl-like sound, just barely within the hearing range, escaped him as his head went between the food and the new people He couldn’t just take the food And he was a servant, so he didn’t need the food really But it was there And the new arrivals were likely to take some of it Food was nice

Berserker tilted his head in confustion He did his job. But everyone seems to be...complaining about something And he barely understood what it was, just that it involved him They seemed displeased about the wood, but not so much as to say he should have stolen rugs So he must have done something right

Maybe he didn’t get enough? If not for the fact he noticed Rider setting up camp, Berserker would have ran to fall more trees

It seemed there was enough wood in the end Which meant Berserker had to stay put Luckily, something distarcted him enough for that to be possible

A tent. Which meant sleep was to be involved Surprizingly few people consider the effects of Mad Enhncement on sleeping people. Some even went deaf for the same reason A screaming berserker is never a nice thing to wake you up afterall.Esspecially deep at night. Sure, spirit form is a thing, but you try convinving a Berserker to go into that!

Of course, most of these thoughts escaped Berserker for the most part The basics of them were still there But instead of knowing why he was doing it, he simply stared at the tent intently in silence

Cut off logs? Attack the trees.

Cut off...rogs? Rugs? Was he supposed to brake into houses and steal people’s carpets!?! No. The rest of the sentance made no sense if he was supposed to steal carpets. He’d have to put that off for later

If not Rugs then....logs? But how? He had no weapon, as sad as that fact was...wait...

Saying nothing, he simply rushed off to the nearest trees Once he was close enough, his right hand started trembling and mana started to gather as he cold forth...a minigun

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”

Stopping dead in his tracks, he fired around randomly. If his voice was a weapon, like a certain Lancer, his screams would have likely been able to cut down the forest on their own. But, it was not, so the most it did was likely scare off every living thing in a three mile radius ...wasn’t Assassin hunting? That is something a sane person would have thought. berserker was not that and simply kept screaming and shooting down a few dozen trees

Once finished, he took most of the bullet-hole filled logs and carried them back to the rest of the team, satisfied with himself

People were talking. He was barely listening, still focused on the sword

And then it flew towad his master

Naturally, he tried to get in the way and prevent the attack, or at least what seemed like one, only to be stopped by the Avenger

“A?!” With oddly noticable confusion in his voice, he turned to the avenger, glaring daggers

Then again, her words corrected the fact he thought it was an attack, so he could only glare so many daggers before moving back to his target of watching

Sword

With the hungry eyes of a dog watching a bone being dangled in front of them, Lancelot stared at the weapon

There was talking. Maybe a man on fire. Everything was pushed aside as he simply watched the movements of the weapon.

The sword-person was obviously an enemy by the fact he killed Caster. Or did caster kill himself by accident? He saw a lot of the latter, though mostly by Lancers. But back to the sword Sword. The man was obviously an enemy and they had a pretty weapon. Which ment he might be able to get said weapon after

“Aaaaa” A bit of confirming noise escaped him, which could easily be misread considering the conversation he wasn’t following

It was all unexpected. The blast that threw him away, even the walls into and through which he had crashed

But the biggest surprise was his ally. Berserker saw, even through his Mad Enhancement, that Caster was making a last stand

And he could not interfere into such determination as it would only cause a fate worse then even the death which would come. It seems even Maddness cannot shut down his inner knighting

And so, he chose to go to the rest of his allies, leaving the Caster to his last stand

He watched the Saber and Rider approach, without doing anying just yet Saber said some words, but they barely registered in his mind

As Rider took the Master into his arms, Lancelot followed his motions like a heat seeker And then Rider started running

“A?” Even if he wasn’t under Mad Enhancement, he likely would have had the same reaction as the sitation started to catch up to him “A. Aaa. Aaaa” slowly, realizations struck him, until he was hit by what could be described as a moment of clarity and got up from his sitting possition

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA” What followed was his usual maddened screams as he began running at full speed after the Rider, who had taken his master, running across the country side while screaming like a wild animal; or a child who lost their mother and is currently in the process of a tantrum at the fact. It’s a matter of perspective

Seeing the Rider stop near the fortress however caused a single momement of arguable carelesness in which he tripped on a random rock and skid the last few feet to the tower as a result. Had this not happened, he might have run into the wall instead

By the time he got up and disted off, Caren had begun to give orders and he simply waited at the inside frame of the entrance, standing there like the previous chase had not happened
