Holy shit! I haven't gotten around to watching this episode yet, but I just saw this clip on tiktok, and I can't. I hope this wasn't some pity or comfort kiss between them, like I'm hoping they actually become canon in the future. Can't wait for season 2!

Ugh they had the perfect oppurtunity to make show Garth and Daisy a cool spy couple married taking Gilead down but no they had the dumb idea to make Garth marry Becka and Daisy will probably become Commander Mackenzies Handmaid. And die since she is a prototype and the real Nicole will be send in when Agnes is in her 20's the next seasons like in the books.

Ughh, right! We answered this elsewhere, but we had been longing foreverrrr for a similar plot for Osblaine as it's full of fascinating potential. That they're now throwing away the same potential with Daisy and Garth is bizarre to us!

We really don't know what they're doing other than inserting petty teenage drama into Agnes and Becka's friendship by having Garth and Becka get married.

It's quite sad that they likely took elements of Daisy/Nicole in the book and used it to create a placeholder so they could expand what should have been a limited series into a multi-season show, later bringing June's perfect little blonde clone Holly June Osborne Nicole onto the scene and having her fill the real plot of the book.

What a waste of good material, honestly. It is so disappointing that these are the people adapting this amazing book. What greatness could we have had with people who respected Atwood adapting it? We'll never fucking know.

I don't remember much of the novel but I know none of this shit happened. I am OK with stories that go too far away, IDK, I saw too much of Killing Eve, and all The handmaid's tale. I'm all for craziness. But they decided to invent that Becka killed someone and that they are probably going to show us the bury our gays trope.

What was that bathtub scene where Becka is totally disrupted saying "I did it for you. I would do anything for you". I mean, another awful trope of toxic lesbianism for free because this was nowhere to be seen in the book. I am having too much of this shit.
