HI, my name is Anouk, I'm a 20 y/o student in Amsterdam. In about a year I will apply to an animation program. This blog is my way to document my progress. Feel free to ask me anything!

Im realllyyy bad at perspective and anything in which I need spatial awereness so here’s a sketchy try

I got the application assignment to get into art school and I thought I might aswell share this with you.

There are 4 assignments

1. Writing a motivation letter

2. Drawing the first frame of a movie. It has to be a room of some sorts (to check how good your perspective is I think)

3. Make a concept for a comic series. Four panels per 'episodes'. Draw two episodes of the comic. You can only use black and white.

4. Come up with a character. Write in 50 words a summery of a cartoon they can be the lead in. Draw them in three different poses.
