soooo ~ first post time
I’m studying art history, and one of my modules is Art and Architecture of Ancient Mesopotamia - We have to do presentations. I originally wanted to do Ashurbanipal’s Library, but someone else chose it so I couldn’t work out what else I wanted to do, and picked Epic of Gilgamesh because we got told it’s somewhat like our King Arthur legend, and my writer heart was like that can’t be too bad, right?
Thennnn ~ I find out through my sister, that there’s an anime called Fate, and I already dabble with anime (blue exorcist, seven deadly sins, a certain magical index - were my top three, fate might be creeping in there now). So I decide to watch fate, see all the Gilgamesh scenes and all, just to help me with my presentation, or at least feel less terrified about the presentation but now I’m in the Fate hole and I can’t get out.
It gets worse. HOW ThE FUDGE DID GIL (mostly CasterGil but like just GIL) GAIN MY HEART IN THE PROCESS? I mean of course as a writer, I’d fall for the King of Heroes. The first-ever hero and basically story known to mankind.
There’s no escape from fate, is there?
