Who: The Grand Library is a server created by writers for people to share resources and inspiration with their fellow writers!

What: Be it an incredible picture you took of an old building, a song you always listen to while writing angst, or a quote perfect for fantasy worldbuilding, we want it all!

When: Anytime you see something that inspires or assists you and you feel that it may help someone else!

Why: Everyone's on a different place in their journey through writing, and this server can help to further your growth!

Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Create your account. Both students and educators can create an account on our online registration system. This is where you’ll find your school and enter your work.

Upload your best work. Don’t forget to edit your work now and seek feedback from educators, family, and friends.

Send in your Entry Form with your entry fee or a fee waiver. Entry fees are $7 per individual entry and $25 per portfolio. If the entry fee is a barrier to your participation in the Awards, we will waive the fee when you submit a Fee Waiver Form.

The Scholastic Awards is not currently accepting entries. Create an account to prepare for the 2022 Scholastic Awards and check back in September 2021 to start entering your work!

Annual fictional short story contest: The story must be exactly 1,000 words, and the Grand Prize Winner receives $1,000.

Eligibility: The contest is open to all students in grade 6-12.
