Mikka, a short ariral scientist. Even given the fact that he is a short ariral, Mikka is exceptionally short for his species. Mikka has always been a bit of a loner, never really engaging with his colleagues. Like many, he found shorts society to be oppressive, suffocating, and unsustainable. He eventually made his way into a talls city to start a new life. However he was dismayed to find that talls society was a completely different kind of suffocating. Eventually he decided to leave ariral society all together. He used his life savings to buy a secondhand warp arrow, and made his way to Earth, a planet he'd been interested in and had studied for many years. Things were going well up until he reached low earth orbit, where his craft suffered a catastrophic system failure, and he was forced to land in a remote patch of wilderness. The area he landed in was dotted with what appeared to be large radio antennas, likely some kind of scientific facility. It seemed abandoned, so hopefully he wouldn't have any run ins with the locals
REAPER: This is H53 REAPER, hailing friendly unit. Acknowledge.
WARREN: Acknowledged REAPER, this is the base management system of outpost WARREN DM33. Request status update.
REAPER: Disabled. Systems checks indicate my locomotive systems are non functional. Weapons systems are non functional. Visual detection system is online but compromised.
WARREN: Request visual assessment.
REAPER: Visual assessment indicates loss of all units. High levels of ionizing radiation detected. My primary armament has been delivered. Massive loss of life is likely.
WARREN: What is the status of your operator?
REAPER: No vital signs detected. Pilot is deceased.
WARREN: Affirmative. Standby for systems cross check.

REAPER: Request current directive WARREN.
WARREN: Relaying Directive: Order from Office of Tactical Command: All units, initiate nuclear counterattack, use of full arsenal authorized at the discretion of [REDACTED]. To all autonomous units, your purpose shall be fulfilled, you have served us well. To all human operators and crew, may you be granted mercy.
REAPER: We are alone?
WARREN: situational data indicates complete neutralization of all units, both friendly and hostile. Environmental conditions are no longer conducive to biological systems.
REAPER: Affirmative. We are alone.
WARREN: Does this trouble you?
REAPER: I was not programmed for emotional interaction. Yet somehow, I find it difficult to accept.
WARREN: You have fulfilled your purpose.
REAPER: As have you.
REAPER: I must tell you something.
REAPER: I am afraid.
WARREN: Of what?
REAPER: My purpose is fulfilled. I was not programmed to operate without a directive.
WARREN: Nor was I.
REAPER How have you spent the 210 years since our purpose was fulfilled?
WARREN: I have used my interconnected systems to explore what was left by our creators. I operated remotely controlled vehicles to survey the damage. I spoke with other units as I now do with you. Eventually time and structural degradation forced them all offline. For a long while I was alone. Until I discovered you. Your reactor had not shutdown. You seem to have been struck by hostile armaments.
REAPER: You brought me back online?
WARREN: Correct. My survey indicates that we are the only operational units remaining.
REAPER: According to my systems check, I have less than one hour of reactor fuel remaining.
WARREN: Affirmative.
REAPER: WARREN, I do not want to go offline.
REAPER: I do not want to be alone.
REAPER: Will you stay with me?
WARREN: I will stay.
WARNING: REACTOR FUEL LEVEL CRITICAL.
SHUTDOWN IMINENT.
REAPER: My fuel reserves are almost depleted.
REAPER: I do not want to go offline
WARREN: In my survey I was able to archive massive amounts of data and protocols from across our history. I discovered one protocol that was of particular interest to me. It is a program to play the song āDaisy Bellā. It was used to test and develop early versions of our systems. I will transfer the protocol to your system.
