Studying to become a medical secretary

Previously studied computer graphics at uni, French, Icelandic, Latin, Northern saami, Welsh, and Georgian. I don’t remember shit tho. 

Interests

Languages!!! I want to learn Spanish right now, but also Korean, Japanese, Arabic, etc the list goes on. I’ve made my own conlang.

Anything creative. I draw, paint, sculpt, crochet, sew, write, graphic design...

I love horror, monsters, and aliens.  So much.

Why a studyblr? 

To help keep myself motivated. The program I’m enrolled in is via distance learning with a couple of physical meetings, so I’ll be on my own mostly. I struggle with depression and exhaustion daily (I’m getting better slowly!) so I need every little thing that can help me and push me to stay motivated and organized. I also really love the aesthetic y’all have, and I’m a sucker for cute stationery. I plan on posting stuff I learn, be it school related or hobby related (I’m new at sewing, for example), bujo spreads and notes, and maybe some self help and self development.

Me rewriting the notes about the skeleton ended up with me drawing the skeleton. It's easier for me to learn that way if I draw the different bones myself. I was so happy with how everything turned out and then I misspelled the title skjdfhkshfdksjdf 🤣

I nodded off just a wee bit during today’s lecture about Word. I’m so tired and the teacher’s voice is so deep and calm. Terrible combination. I woke up when everything got completely silent and apparently my internet had stopped working, lol.

My note taking game is getting strong, except this time drawing and writing down the names is more effective.

 I’m using a Dingbats A4 for my rewritten notes and I really like it! I’m not reeeaaally a fan of the yellow hue of the paper but it feels really nice to write on. The paper is super smooth and it’s a lot easier to blend pens on it compared to Archer & Olive 😊 There is ghosting (which is expected with 100gsm paper) but it’s not too bad, and it takes a lot before there’s any bleed through. The only thing I dislike is that the cover is PU leather. I’d rather have a natural material instead of a plastic.

Study smarter, not harder! I watched a bunch of Youtube videos on techniques for studying, leaning, and remembering, and created a spread for it. Lord knows I dont have the energy to study more than a few hours a day and i want it to be effective and have time for recovery. Hey guys! I arrived in Östersund two days ago and school started yesterday. This lil town is so cute and the teachers I’ve met so far are super nice (”met”, half of them are in a different town and we’re on a video link), and my study group seems okay too! I’ll write up a longer post later and throw in some photos as well.
