people have said good things about you behind your back, without your knowledge. people have shared their love for you with others.
if you have one, tag with the "6 degrees of separation" you have with a celebrity
we are in the kitchen together. I love you I want to give you everything. come stand in the kitchen while I cook for you. no you cannot help cook. this is an act of love. I am making you dinner. I am giving you food because I cannot give you my heart because I cannot give you the world. come sit at the counter and tell me stories while I chop vegetables. I care about you. I care I care. I am making us something to eat. food is love. it is special. deliberate. we are in my kitchen together and I love you

I feel like so many trans men dont realise they are trans men and are scared of transition (for manyyy reasons thats a whole other post) but also because many (not most or all of us by any means) but many of us do want to transition to being a feminine man. Like whatever that manifests like in particular and for whatever reason (gay) but that is just something thatās so common and I feel like it can be hard when you do like being feminine so in some ways you can kind of ādealā with parts of being seen that way pre transition, or have elements of it that u dont hate and idk. Itās sad how these are often deemed (misconstrued even) as like signs ur ānot really a Real transā. Because even without that narrative I think that this (having some positive connection to femininity even though you donāt have that same connection with actually being a girl or woman) can lead to people doubting themselves and not being sure about their identity or the possibility of transition. Because idk if you do want to be a feminine man thats not really like something ānormalā to aspire to iykwim. Itās not really seen as something desirable to be (even if thatās what you want to be because thats what u are) and thatās like a weird element at play for many. Not that being a masculine trans man is any more desirable/ approved/ easy. I just think about how that plays into it all when so many transphobic and transmedicalist narratives about trans men involves like āfujo fangirl who read too much gay fanfiction and wants to be a gay boy even tho shes not even trying to pass and doesnāt look like a man to me wahhā ⦠anyway wishing all those boys a very merry get on testosterone and I love you.. it gets better when u get faggier itās okay
Also I do think thereās a lot of freedom in not aspiring to a cis idea of what a man is supposed to be, or a straight idea of that either. Gender is so complex and the way gay men and trans men interact with āManhoodā and āmasculinityā when those are at their core very straight and cisgender concepts, its always gonna be a bit of of the binary in its own way. Itās never quite gonna be what the cis and straight idea of a Man is, which is of course the best version of being a man and actually the Only version. Itās so much more productive for your vision of your future self to have your own idea of what āBeing a manā actually means to you because for a lot of us (for many reasons) we just donāt aspire to that at the end of the day. And are actually much happier when we are free to look and act how we are, which means both being free to be feminine, but also free to transition. The two arenāt mutually exclusive and sometimes the magical combination for comfort and happiness is both and they unlock each other in interesting ways at different times. Do you not feel like/ want to be a man .. or do you just not feel like/ want to be a cis Man ⢠⢠⢠?
about-face ⢠April 2026
a handful of times a year i will dream vividly about some kind of apocalypse, fire and flood and a heavy sense of impending death, and i feel like if i lived in another time or place this would be a sign of divine insight or smth like that. instead it's 2026 and i am "stressed" or "anxious" or "need to go for more walks"
i know a place! *brings you into my arms and hugs you*
