So what you’re saying is like. He’s one of those guys who get SO mad at people who say Wrong Information as a Bit™️ and he’s like “um ACTUALLY”. And you just keep going with the bit and he gets more and more pissed off.

I could see Astarion doing it on purpose just because it’s hilarious.

Love the idea of the rest of the companions knowing Astarion is a vampire spawn but he keeps denying it to gale specifically bc it’s funny and the others are playing along.

it's even more insane in context of the whole list:

things that net you less disapproval than lying to gale about being a vampire include: being an asshole about astarion's sexual trauma, and handing shadowheart over to be tortured and have her memories erased.

even gale gives you the same amount of disapproval for refusing to give him the magic he needs to STAY ALIVE. essentially, you withholding lifesaving medicine from him and you telling a lie are of equal badness to gale. priorities??

there are literally only 2 things you can do in the game that net you more disapproval than this. gale does not fuck around about lying...
