I was doodling while working in after effects to render a scene and you can see my mental resolve crumbling in real time as the creatures get more and more anguished.

First up we have my ocs Val and Rosie, Val's a vampire in bat form. Rosie's the one chucking them at you. Next is my character Twig, a little anthropomorphic chihuahua who is up to mischief, and her definitely-a-unicorn-and-not-a-void-entity horse (Razrendrath), and small bug companion

She lives in the same world as Armageddon, a Japanese Macaque. The pictures on the bottom were some earlier designs for them + a coloured design. I think I want to change their colours a bit later on- they're nice to look at for now but I feel like they need some more blues or something.

i don't like to yuck people's yum but i have to say that my least favorite thing to come from the current state of Artists on the Internet is the idea of a sketchbook as something nice and pretty and shareable. like i love me a notebook full of gorgeous art don't get me wrong but that is NOT what a sketchbook is. a sketchbook is my friend who i carry around everywhere like a purse chihuahua. it is the physical manifestation of my notes app. it is the container into which i wring my brain out. it is my therapist. and most of all it is filled with absolutely terrible sketches that should never see the light of day.

this post is making the rounds again and the amount of people saying that the pretty sketchbooks phenomenon ruined sketchbooks for them is HEARTBREAKING and i stand by my opinion that sketchbooks should be like a jar you put your OCs in. and then you shake them around in there. that's what they're for

Some art where I was trying to work out what a more fantasy-inspired version of my oc Peaches would look like. (previously he looked similar just without the cockatrice elements and wizard outfit lol)

I eventually settled on the kinda cockatrice-griffin look you can see in the final coloured sketch. He's shown with his apprentice Jujine, a budding necromancer and student of various other magics.
