Kawkaw wants to play!
She isn’t her step mom, she’s the mom that stepped up!
Congratulations on your new loving, extremely loud mom
I can’t lie I think out of everything that still gets to me in the finale is Gangle not being able to cry for Jax initially, then when all is said and done she breaks downs to finally cry.
It’s just so beautifully complicated and human.
real life college losers
Grabbing people by the scruff of their necks and shaking them. You know Jax being a terrible person was the point right. That she pushed everyone away despite having all the opportunity to be better.
It's meant to be tragic. That even after all that she realized she wanted to change as her last words and thoughts. She didn't want to go.
It's okay I understand this is baby's first nuance.
i love that detail- the implication that the life Caine created has free will and now he's willing to accept that, it's for the best
I've seen critiques of them essentially killing off a closeted trans character, and while I see where they're coming from, it's important to also look at the wider context regarding Jax and Leeroy
I feel like everyone should be directed to this post by Gooseworx herself. It's been said better by many others before me but Jax's entire arc is very clearly modeled after a lot of self-hatred from Gooseworx's part, and the way it ended, it also feels like a cautionary tale on the way some transfems don't have the luxury of having a safe social space to comfortably come out, and lashing out at the whole world in the process. Not every transfem journey is lucky enough to have a smooth road, and unfortunately a lot of the times when that happens they end up the same way Jax did -- with a fuckton of internalized misogyny/transphobia, a mask so firmly ingrained that you're disassociating 80% of the time, and a lot of anger towards anybody who even tries to get to know you, even if it's well-intentioned.
But the finale also makes it a point to show that it's not over yet for Leeroy. She has a steady gig, she's not homeless, and she's a frequent patron at Riley's queer bar, which might help her safely come out in the future, this time under better terms. The way I see it, Leeroy's journey has had two branching paths starting from when she got on the circus -- the one in the circus where she's Jax, self-destructing so hard she kills herself, and the one outside, where she mostly has her shit together, and all she needs is a healthy community to give her the right push
are bots making communities now??? some of the ones i get recommended feel like it
like the admin of this one is deactivated and at least 95% of the members are bots
can you imagine you wake up one day in a dark room chained to a radiator with your phone at 1% and you unlock it and find that you've been added to this community
The first thing you do in that situation is open Tumblr?
Where the hell else would I post about being chained to a radiator, fucking Bluesky?
Am I the only one noticing the Cookie Run Kingdom tag????
Imagine finding out your neighbor is chained to a radiator somewhere because you wanted to look up cookie run yaoi on tumblr dot com.
here’s this while i’m still processing the movie
got your body stolen by some malicious being and now you get mischaracterized by everyone around you? sounds very familiar
happy month of queer joy that no amount of hate will ever be able to repress forever
Owen Dennis really loves ending his shows off with a trans coded character who struggles with trusting others but is able to talk about their name in front of the one they’ve learned to trust the most. I love it so much
Big week for Among Us players. Even bigger week for Infinity Train fans.
GAAAAAAAAAY 🫵
You forgot to invite someone
Managed to scan this old user manual from the C&A archives... weird stuff.
I love when I say something about my friends OC and they're like "Yessss"! I'm there like
"I got an A+ in my friends Oc's!"
