The wolf's tail twitched erratically behind her, a grimace barely perceptible on her face as Flora glowered at Scourge for several agonizingly long moments. "I assume it's your birthday," she whispered. "So.." With her cheeks turning a shade darker, Flora of all things pulled out a small set of keys. Definitely not the standard birthday gift-- but if her blush had grown any darker, one might have to worry she was going to faint. "Here. So you stop breaking into my house."

The hedgehog tilts their head at Flora's initial silence, curious what this was about until he heard her speak, leaning in slightly so she could properly hear her words and perking up they moment they recognized what the wolf was holding.

"Oh. Ohoho, I think I'm picking up what you're puttin' down." As soon as they realize what's been given, she's grinning so obnoxiously wide right now as he eagerly takes the key ring and proceeds to spin it around their index finger.

"Maybe I'll bring the party over later tonight...."

ara was guiding scourge to the main room with his eyes covered. " happy birthday, scourge ! surprise ! " she says, moving her hands away and presenting him with a decorated room with presents and cake.

The speedster blinks once as the hands are removed from their eyes, staring out at the array in front of them. It's not like they hadn't had extravagant birthdays before - they were a child of privilege, and they'd demanded their share of celebrations from their friends. But this... was completely unexpected.

The hedgehog looks over at Ara for a moment, trying to gauge what the motivation behind this display of generosity could have been. After taking a second collect themselves, Scourge pushes up their sunglasses to cover up their eyes and grins, attempting to put on a confident posture.

"Hey, finally, a lil' recognition! Let's get some booze in here and I can start gettin' my hands on the loot...."
