And also idg why we should care that he’s Jewish if his killing of Kareem had nothing to do with religious differences or world conflicts lol. Like why show a couple second long shot of his Star of David tattoo… the real tea would’ve been if idzik was like FOR ISRAELLLLL and then shot Kareem. But considering fontanas outspokenness on like every subject except Palestine I know that would’ve been way too contro for him lol.

So oomf and i finished Oz and why are the last 3 seasons SOOOOO much worse than I remember lol. Like why did Fontana start 3 new storylines in the last 30 minutes of the show. Why did everyone gain powers. Why did we have a Cyril execution fake out. Why was there SO much Ryan screen time- with the most dumb plot lines mind you. Like WHO GAF about this Catholic priest what happened to his Gloria obsession. Anyways.. why did Vern, toby, and Chris have the most consistently interesting and well thought out (for Fontana anyways) storylines and yet they only were shown for about 20 min total each season.

And ofc Kareem’s death (and Omar’s) was kinda the icing on top of the shit cake like ughhh this show omg…

Heyyy everyone I'm still alive lol. I wish I could go back to daily posting but I'm veryyyy busy. I'm taking classes, applying to grad school, and working two jobs lol... I do graduate in December though soo maybe when I am less stressed out I will do an Oz rewatch and start posting on here again.

I was reminded of Oz this morning bcuz Miguel's actor was in an episode of svu and I got nostalgia... also I get likes and reblogs on my Oz and Sopranos posts daily and sometimes its like,, I don't even remember making all of those posts lmao. love how everyone else was able to maintain some semblance of a successful life while also dealing in the meth empire except for walt. gus was a beloved community member who was like raising money for the local baseball team to go to regionals and serving up chicken good enough to mend broken marriages. mike was a doting pop-pop to his granddaughter and took care of his daughter-in-law while still finding time to sit in his big chair and rest his eyes. lydia was the world's first girl boss. like it was truly just a skill issue with walt, he could've become the patron saint of beta gofundme and dressed up as santa for a st. judes hospital but instead he got his ass fired and fumbled his milf so bad that she actively prayed for his death. SAD!
