On it, everyone you ever reviewed code for, every programmer who ever developed anything. The aggregate of all our .NET joys and sufferings, thousands of confident new platforms, frameworks and design patterns, every Fortnite hunter and forager, every Minecraft hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of objects, every Candy Crush level and bonus, every young couple on Skype, every hopeful child on YouTube, every mother and father on iMessage, every Finder and Explorer, every teacher of Java, every corrupt byte in a backup, every Office installation, every administrator, every Mac and Windows in the history of our computers, ran there on a mote of electricity, suspended by a random crash: the kernel panic or the pale blue screen of death.
