Nightmare Starters!
@wedeviant-androidnation
Not all of the Jerry’s had bad dreams, but there were a few that whenever they went into sleep mode, would be plagued by visions of events that left them terribly distraught. Frightening things happening to either themselves or another one of them. This Jerry, of course, sadly just so happened to be one of the unlucky few to have frequent nightmares. He shook slightly, keeping his hands close to him before looking over at Adrian, quietly replying, “We…we are used to this…but it’s still scary for us.” It was rather odd to see such a usually cheerful android so scared, and meek. “You are correct, though…we had a bad dream.” He whimpered slightly at the thought of the nightmare, letting his chin fall to his chest as he clenched his eyes shut.
[X]
Jeremiah nodded, a solemn smile adorning his features. “Really though, you don’t have to assist if it’s too much trouble. You’ve practically already done enough by not informing your superiors about us. I know that not many would do that. We wouldn’t want you to find yourself in any danger because of us.”
The silent Jerry missing the lower half of his jaw stepped forward, tapping Jeremiah’s arm. He tilted his head curiously, signing in Jeremiah’s direction, “But what will we do, Jeremiah? Please accept her help…you know that we’ve been running out of supplies lately.”
Jeremiah sighed before answering back in ASL, “I know, but it’s simply too dangerous. We can’t have any innocent casualties. We’ll figure out something, I promise.” He then turned to face Adrian. “Things…haven’t been easy. More of us are succumbing to weakness, shutting down randomly…and not turning back on. If I were to be honest with you Adrian…everyone in this room is what’s left of us, and as you can see…it’s not many.”
Adrian smiled at him. “I want to help. I want to do more. It doesn’t feel like I’ve done enough for you yet. And it’s no big deal. Thankfully they don’t look into anything I say to deeply. I’m in danger almost everyday because of my job. It’s fine.”
She smiled as the two EM 400s talk through ASL. She watched with a raised eyebrow, trying to hold in a chuckle as she knew what they were saying. She whistled to get their attention before signing to them, “By the way, I know what you were saying.” Followed by a quiet chuckle. The smile on her face quickly faded away. “I see. Jeremiah, I know you don’t know if you can trust, but I really do want to help. Anything you or the others need.”
Jeremiah awkwardly scratched the back of his neck, while the injured Jerry’s shoulders shook and a noise left him, as though he were laughing a little. Jeremiah’s eyes soon softened at Adrian’s statement. “Well, I…I guess at this point we’re all just trying our best to survive. Anything that’s not too much trouble would be greatly appreciated. Even small things…either way, we just want to find a way for us to be okay for just a little bit longer until things get better for us all. I hear that things in the city have been changing…protests occurring, and such.”
He shrugged, before glancing over at all of the Jerry’s. “I can only hope that it will be beneficial for I am my brothers in the long run…and not in vain.”
“Aren’t we all.” she replied. Adrian nodded. “I don’t think it would be to much trouble bring you biocomponents and blue blood. And definitely space heaters… those would help a lot with the freezing.” She looked around the room before she turned back to Jeremiah. “I know what you mean. And you’ve heard correctly. I just happen to be right in the middle of it all. Things are happening. Something’s changing.”
She smiled at them. “I’m sure it will be. I’m going to make sure of that. You have my word.”
A smile made its way to Jeremiah's face, one that was sad, but hopeful at the same time. He could only hope. He'd been doing that for so long that he practically relied on hope for strength in order to continue on. He needed to be strong. Not just for himself, but for them as well. He didn't know much about Adrian, but...well, it seemed as though the sudden appearance of this kind stranger could be just what they needed all along.
"Thank you...I don't think I, or any of the rest of us can ever truly express just how grateful we are. Consider us indebted to you as a token of our gratitude. We Jerry's may be friendly, but when things get tough...well, we know how to protect ourselves, as well as our friends. We'd like for you to know Adrian, that we as a whole do indeed consider you, well...a friend. If you are ever in need of our assistance, well will be there to help."
All the Jerry's nodded at this statement, a few of them speaking up to verbalize their agreement in assisting Adrian if ever needed.
//Hey all. I’m aware that I haven’t been too active as of late, and I apologize for that. Recently, schoolwork has been a lot, which is why I’m planning on going on a mini hiatus until further notice. This includes any other RP blogs that I’m affiliated with. I won’t be dropping any threads unless said otherwise, it’s just that it might be awhile before I get to them. Feel free to message me if you just wanna chat. In the meantime though, I’ll see y'all around. Peace ✌

RP Etiquette for Non-RPers
A lot of posts about what is or isn’t okay for non-RPers to do never seem to make it to personal blogs, so I thought I’d try one. These are true for the overwhelming majority of RPers I know on Tumblr, though nothing is ever 100%.
Do not ever reblog someone else’s RP posts. These aren’t edited and have a small, mostly contained audience. These are not like fanfic which an RPer has purposefully posted for anyone to see. It is seen as incredibly rude.
Most RPers are fine with you liking the RP posts, though. Most actually appreciate knowing other people enjoy them.
RPers sometimes follow non-RPers for various reasons (you might post a lot about their fandom, they might also follow you on a personal and want to keep track of your posts, etc.). They’re not normally expecting you to follow back.
Non-RPers can follow RPers, just keep in mind that they won’t interact with you the way a non-RP blog would. Sometimes RP blogs might also be suspicious, because of the tendency to get followed by nsfw and spam blogs.
You can send in Asks, anonymous or not, to the character (called a “muse”). RPers love getting questions for their characters to answer or memes that can be done with anyone (for example, there are memes about specific ships, just send in a ship you like to the RPer).
You can send in Asks, anonymous or not, to most RPers (who are called “muns”) about events, characters, etc. in their canon, as long as they relate to their character. Everyone likes to talk about their own opinions!
You can also use Anon asks to RP with most RPers (send in asks making it clear you’re a certain character, someone they’d know from canon, and ask questions or make commentary for them to respond to).
And you can always ask an RPer for information about RPing if you’re curious. Most RPers are happy to give answers or direct you to someone who would.

Like/Repost this post if you are a DBH roleplayer blog who would like to be put on the DBH Masterlist!
Please! This makes it so I don’t have to message everyone for permission!
Send “May I have this dance?” To slow dance with my muse.
Doesn’t have to be anything to do with a ship. Platonic dances are just as sweet.

Jerome nestled his head to Jeremiah’s shoulder before turning to look at Adrian. “Yes…we are okay now…thank you for helping us…” He quietly replied, still clinging to Jeremiah like a frightened child.
“Might I ask what you are doing out here, Adrian? I’m not opposed to friendly visitors, but we usually don’t get many out here, especially during this time of year. The snow’s been heavier as of late, so the only people we see are usually desperate travelers…those who are either running away from or looking for something.” He gave a slight shrug, rewrapping his arms around Jerome while still rubbing his back.
“Just a little curious…I apologize if I’m prying.” He offered a friendly smile in Adrian’s direction, indicating that he meant no offense.
She smiled at Jerome. “That’s good. I’m glad. It was my pleasure.” she answered, speaking softly and gently.
She turned her head slightly to face Jeremiah. “You aren’t prying. It’s alright if you want to know. If I was in your position I would want to know what a mysterious stranger was doing on my turf too.” Adrian chuckled. “On the record, the DPD sent me here to check out the place do to people reporting massive deviant activity, and if the reports were true, called in to CyberLife to round them up. But unfortunately, I haven’t found a thing.” she said with a rather cheeky smile and a knowing wink. “Now, off the record, I would like to see where the others are, maybe get a list of things you guys will need.”
A curious look crossed over Jeremiah’s face for a moment, a little unsure as to whether or not he should trust the stranger, considering her original purpose for being there. But…she’d helped his brother. No one without a heart would do that, right? Yes, he could trust her…but not too much. He knew from past experiences that being too naive was a downfall for Jerry’s.
“Alright…come follow me then, most of us tend to hide out in the storage building. Spare parts and equipment for ride repairs were originally kept there, but we’ve made it into our own little home.” He replied, gesturing for her to follow him while still holding on to his brother. He could only hope that this stranger truly did mean well.
Oh, she knew that look. Deviants who hadn’t previous met her or know her were often confused and/or worried about her intentions. Understandable really. Considering most of the time the reason she met these deviants was because she was sent in to capture them. But hopefully he could trust her… even if it was just a little bit.
She nodded. “Alright. Lead the way.” she said as she moved to follow him and Jerome. “That’s sounds nice. How is it structure wise? Is it warm enough?” Needless to say she was concerned about them. Probably part of her old caretaker programming. She just had to make sure everyone was okay.
“It’s enough to keep us from fully freezing.” He called out, walking towards the building. “There used to be more of us, but the weather as I said before hasn’t been too good. Old parts stop working, and mind palaces become completely frozen. No to mention that teenagers from the town over like to come and vandalize the area. Sometimes they tend to give us trouble, but we manage. Those that don’t succumb to any injuries are usually kept inside. It’s for their own safety, considering that some can’t even more the lower half of their body. Frozen joints are definitely something we have to worry about.”
Jeremiah stopped in front of a building before removing a key from his shirt pocket, unlocking a door with a chipped sigh that read ‘employees only’. As he opened the door, guiding both Adrian and Jerome inside, he called out, “We have a guest everyone. Please come out and say hello, she means well.” As soon as she said this, some more Jerry’s slowly began to come out of hiding. Some looked relatively normal, though frozen, while others were injured or missing a few appendages. One Jerry stood next to the others who was missing the lower half of his jaw, curiously staring at the newcomer with the slight tilt of his head, seemingly unable to verbally communicate.
Jeremiah turned around to face Adrian with a half smile. “Well...this is what we call home. It’s not much, but we make do.”
