Doctor Crumbler is the character from popular reality TV series "Half Alive but the Guy is Really There". It's his job to make you smile and make you think. He jumps and frolics across the movie creen gayly and he drops dope knowledge like a Greek chorus. He's giving head but he's also giving hope. AND, he smells like dog Water. + he's older than God. He dies 3 minutes in to the presentation & his corpse kind of slides across the floor for the rest of it like a weird mop.

the idea that people in a system are just as much real living people as the host should not be controversial yet somehow here we are.....

I think that being alive and having a sense of individual identity is more than enough criteria to constitute Being A Person. someone's personhood and sense of self originating from something other than Physically Being Born doesn't make them any less of a real person. if people in a system would prefer to be treated like PEOPLE then I'm very sorry but that's really not a big ask and all that is required of you in return is basic kindness and respect. and I hope that is a managable task for most of you!

if your partner is exhibiting learned helplessness they aren't manipulating you, they're displaying a trauma response.

Anyhow, I am glad that I get to post my piece. This is from a year ago, and it is definitely one of the only biiiig digital pieces I've uh, EVER done. The colors are maybe weird, the perspective is definitely wonky, but THAT'S OKAY. It was a lot of fun to draw, and it was fun being on a zine team even if it didn't end up panning out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
