To what extent would you blame Leo’s mother for the collapse of their relationship?

(I haven't read 14 yet 'cause I was stuck in a binge watching hole this weekend. Also it’s 1 AM, have mercy.) When they were arguing and Leo threw a glass, it seemed to me it was more of Leo's fault since he acted that way [insert proper adjective, can't English now]. Though it's obvious his mother isn't completely innocent either. I don't remember if anything's been said about how she acted after her husband died, but I reckon she neglected Leo in the process. I also don't like how she says that Elliot doesn't need to stay like son should go through it alone (idk). You can't say she didn't thought of it, but she still loves him and her guilt is tying her to him. It takes two to start an argument.

Smile + Photograph - Golden Trio Week

It’s short and rather unfitting for the time it took me to post it, but I don’t have any inspiration left for it.

“Alice, smile!” Oz shoved a camera objective into her face. She groaned. Oz was bugging her ever since he got a camera from Gilbert.

“Please? I don’t have a picture of you smiling.” He made the puppy eyes. God, not the puppy eyes again.

“So? Why do you even need one?” She picked at her favourite stuffed rabbit’s ears. They were torn from the years of biting into them. She never knew why she had such fondness if it until she started gaining her past life memories when she reunited with Oz and Gilbert.

“I wanted to save it for when I return to my family.” Even though his demeanor remained sunny, Alice could make out the sadness in his voice. She could understand. This summer was the best one she spend in her life and the thought of it ending saddened her. She wanted to spend more time with them, but Gilbert said it would be unfair to their families.

“Oh!” he said, pulling her out of her thoughts. “We should make a group picture.”

She wanted to reject that idea, but Oz was smiling at her and all her walls fell down. “Fine.” She pouted.

“Thank you, Alice,” Oz said sincerely. “I”m gonna get Gilbert.” He stormed off, leaving her at the balcony of Gilbert’s house where they had been sitting. She could see the Reveille from here, its concrete castles touching the skies. It didn’t look like the town she remembered. It filled her up with a familiar feeling, the nostalgia for the time that long passed. She shook her head. She wasn’t going to worry about it now.

She got up with natural confidence, leaving the view behind. She entered inside to search for those two.
