Been a minute.

For the first time I’m taking school seriously.

Finishing up my GE to satisfy my transfer requirements, which is Statistics and English. And for the first time, math is clicking with me. I’m super grateful for my professor who’s enthusiastic about us asking questions and enthusiastic about us understanding the material. Professors like that are rare, and I’m glad I’m taking a subject I used to fear with someone like her.

I’m kinda anxious to know if I’ve been accepted into the schools I applied to, but I’m remaining optimistic.

I still write and still want to talk about video games for a living. Video games are just taking a backseat Monday-Thursday so I can have absolute focus on school. But I’m still checking out social media so I can keep up with what’s happening in the industry. WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT NINTENDO DIRECT WITH ANIMAL CROSSING’S RELEASE DATE???

Still flying solo and finally starting to own it. There was this one girl. I say “was”, not because she’s dead, but because I don’t know if I’ll see her again. Additionally, the ball is in her court and the offer is still on the table where I left it.

Also I don’t know if I can afford the distraction and inevitable heartbreak right now anyway.
