Personality
Bash could be described at the ideal first child: he’s responsible, protective, loving and empathetic. He has a tendency to put others needs before his own and will do so without a second thought. At the same time Bash isn’t one to be walked all over; he has no problem putting people in their place whether he has to do so verbally or physically. Personally, he prefers to handle matters with a good old fashion prank. While he may seem like a responsible adult Bash certainly doesn’t have his shit together. His love for a good time mixed with the terrible people he’s chosen to befriend often puts him in the most absurd situations. Thankfully for his friends, Bash is the self proclaimed brains of the operation and is usually the one everyone depends on to bail them out of trouble…which he does, but not before making matters worse first.
Biography
Sebastian was the first born child of newly married couple Marcus LaCroix, a police officer, and Kayla, an elementary school teacher. Growing up in quiet Mandeville, Louisiana, the LaCroix family lived a rather nice life aside from the fact that Marcus was never around. Bash (as he was eventually nicknamed by his younger sisters) can safely say that he doesn’t really remember his father being a constant presence in his life, in fact, it only got worse the older the LaCroix children got. Aside from his rocky relationship with his father Bash grew up to be a pretty good kid. It probably had something to do with the fact that he was good at covering his tracks when he’d get into trouble. A star athlete and excellent student, Bash practically had the opportunity to attend any college he wanted when the time finally came. As much as he loved his family, Bash used college as his chance to put some distance between himself and home. He spent part of the summer before college in Oxford, Mississippi in attempt to get get familiarized with what would be his home for the next four or more years. It was during that time that he would meet his best friend and future roommate- it was love at first selfie. The next four years of Bashs’ life went by quickly as he balanced schoolwork and football with an active social life while still calling home every week to make sure Sonia and Shea had done their homework. Having been away from his family for four years, Bash was reunited with the others during a family “vacation” courtesy of Shea finally graduating high school. Truthfully, Bash and Sonia (who had followed in his footsteps and left home) had been hesitant to return home but did so only for their baby sisters sake. Things had actually been going pretty well until the accident happened. To this day the events of that night are still a blur to Bash; all he remembers is being at the bar one moment and waking up to a gorgeous blonde beside his hospital bed. He didn’t know how but Valencia Bellefry had managed to save his life using magic. Bash refused to return home with Shea and their father after that. How could he after the loss of their mother and Sonia? So instead of fully recovering in the comfort of his own home and with his family, Bash followed Val and her ‘companions’ to Europe where they would spend the next couple of years. During this time Bash did whatever he could to aid his savior, in particular by finding ways to help improve her magic while helping keep Nora and Kai from killing one another. Times would get rough but Bash wouldn’t trade his new dysfunctional family for anything in the world. A witch, a warlock, two vampires and a werewolf later, Bash and the group have been settled in Oxford for a few months now. The news of an impending war has Bash on edge, especially when both of his families find themselves right in the middle of it.
