you took your time when you looked at people. you were the first teacher in so long that saw me as more than just the class clown. you looked past everything to see people for their true selves and believed that was also their best self. you cared for difficult children because you knew there was more to them than their circumstances. you always focused on love. despite everything, you let yourself be vulnerable with us, gave us incite into who you were and it was absolutely lovely.

the most incredible thing is that I know this reflection is not a outlier. I know so many others have you in their hearts because your love and care reached so many people. you are an inspiration.
