Every time I accomplish something, I feel the urge to turn around to tell you. You’re super out of my life at this point, but why do i keep getting placed on this platform OVER & OVER again. I don’t think of you for months and months on end yet once in a blue moon, I search for your validation & praise. Is this a mental illness of some sort? I think you were more than my lover. There has to be a word for it somewhere.

Dreams are coming back pretty rampant rn. I don’t want to dream of you. I don’t even exactly like who you are right now.. Maybe I just miss the connection or I’m saddened to see what’s to become of you. Scared that it won’t fit this image I imagined I want you to look like.  Selfish af, i know.  I’ve learned I’m not always right though. Maybe you’re doing fine. It doesn’t turn off this auto pilot though. This subconscious bug eating away at my daily..

Are you eating okay? Do you have good friends right now? How’s the baby boy? Do you sleep okay? You’re not drinking too much are you? Please tell me you kicked that smoking habit better than I am. How’s school? How’s work? How’s your family?
