well then whats the fucking point
@rangari
Don’t give me one-sided unrequited love, give me two-sided unwanted love. Both sides are deeply in love with the other and both sides are like ‘fuck, really?? them??? really?’
Crops of a commission I finished for @whatsaysthefool (who I unfortunately can’t tag!).

@notapaladin look at our nerds being badass and everything
“I trust you” is a better compliment than “I love you” because you may not always trust the person you love but you can always love the person you trust.

How do you make people fall in love with you
challenge them to a duel
I ENDED UP DRAWING A COMIC ABOUT THIS STUPID FUCKING ASK IM CRYING
an extremely short story about two knights who were made for each other
I am not the first person you loved. You are not the first person I looked at with a mouthful of forevers. We have both known loss like the sharp edges of a knife. We have both lived with lips more scar tissue than skin. Our love came unannounced in the middle of the night. Our love came when we’d given up on asking love to come. I think that has to be part of its miracle. This is how we heal. I will kiss you like forgiveness. You will hold me like I’m hope. Our arms will bandage and we will press promises between us like flowers in a book. I will write sonnets to the salt of sweat on your skin. I will write novels to the scar of your nose. I will write a dictionary of all the words I have used trying to describe the way it feels to have finally, finally found you. And I will not be afraid of your scars. I know sometimes it’s still hard to let me see you in all your cracked perfection, but please know: whether it’s the days you burn more brilliant than the sun or the nights you collapse into my lap your body broken into a thousand questions, you are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I will love you when you are a still day. I will love you when you are a hurricane.
Mouthful of Forevers – Clementine von Radics (via februarypoem)
loving you was not sudden. it was not between blinks or heartbeats or kisses. it was not fireworks in a night sky. you were warm. you were quiet. you wove your way through my ribs one smile at a time until you were so close to my heart i couldn’t help but love you. you held out your hand and said, maybe this, said, maybe us, and i fell in love with bus journeys and bad jokes and soft touches without ever knowing, without stopping to notice. loving you was a bed and your hand solid on my back and the lights from the night before still dancing in my veins and the look on your face when i told you, maybe. maybe this is love.
(people sneaking up on you but in the heart way not the scare way)
My story isn’t particularly pretty, but I’ll tell it to you. My life isn’t partially easy, but I’ll share it with you. My heart isn’t particularly loving, but I’ll let it love you.

… but I have a particular tenderness for you, and one I have never felt for anyone, up to now.
George Sand, in a letter to Gustave Flaubert, 11 November, 1866 (via luthienne)
non-gendered alternative to ‘welcome ladies and gentlemen’
All the grace I lacked and all of the tenderness, I found it in you.

be sure to understand ur s/o’s way of showing affection and make them aware of yours.. some ppl show affection by buying u things and some ppl will say I love u a million times and some will make u breakfast some will leave u the last ice cream, but it’s really important to know about these things bc u could not notice them and feel unloved while your s/o feels taken for granted and it’s just all a big misunderstanding so please talk about these things
Learning about love languages can be so important when trying to build meaningful relationships with friends and family as well. Not everyone perceives the world the same way.
