Sylus hates seeing you distraught.

The big bad boss-man of Onychinus has watched you listlessly mope around the base for far too long. The twins and Mephisto can’t get you to play. You’re too sad to even submit to his clingy cuddles.

That simply won’t do. At least this new shipment of state of the art weaponry needs a test run.

He strides past your view all dressed up in his riding leathers and packing heat. It makes you sit up from your sad moping in a fluffy blanket with a little wolf plush.

You watch him stretch out his neck and tug leather gloves on like a little cat peering over the back of the couch.

“Sy… where you going?”

A swirl of his evol has his helmet settling in hand to tuck it under his arm while he puts on his sunglasses. He glances at you. It takes step strides for him to be in your space and pressing a kiss to your crown. Then he’s walking out the door, hand lazily waving.

“I’m getting your wolf back.”

You barely register his words before you’re scrambling around the base to get dressed too.

“WAIT FOR ME-! IM COMING WITH YOU-!”

I hereby lodge a formal protest. Please do not brush this off with official rhetoric; please record this directly and escalate it to higher authorities.

The sudden removal of a character that had already been announced constitutes false advertising, breach of trust, and a violation of the consumer contract. Players invested time, emotion, and money in preparation based on the official preview; unilaterally removing the character is a serious violation of consumer rights, and we reserve the right to pursue all legal remedies.

This does nothing to improve the current public perception; it will only cement the label of “untrustworthy” even more firmly. Not only will it fail to recover revenue, but it will also make it clear to all observers that your company can arbitrarily renege on its promises.

Our demands are clear and non-negotiable:

First, Ao Yin must be released immediately as the official male lead, with all previously announced promotional materials, card artwork, storylines, and companion events—not a single one omitted;

Second, the official team of *Love & Deep Space* must issue a formal, public, and sincere apology to all players who love Ao Yin.

Please provide a substantive response to the above two points.

honestly, if a boycott, refund requests, and people uninstalling are what got us here in the first place, then i think those of us who were genuinely excited for valko should be just as loud.

because why are we expected to sit quietly and be grateful for crumbs when we were teased an entire character, got invested, got excited, and then were told to simply move on?

no, actually.

if people can make noise when they dislike something, then people are allowed to make noise when something they did want gets taken away too.

i wanted the wolfboy. i was ready for the wolfboy. i had already made room in my little morally questionable heart for the wolfboy.

so yes. refund, uninstall, boycott, howl at the moon, whatever feels right. but don’t let them think no one wanted him.

Infold is pissing me off, so bad rn. And the CN players.

First off, CN players, apparently, sending funeral flowers and cow dung and ritual items to Papergames is batshit behaviour, on it's own. But because they don't like the story/development direction the game is going? One that infold stated has been the plan from the start? Who does that?!

And Infold caving to it is dangerous. It sends the message that this kind of behaviour works, and the people behind it get what they want. Not just towards infold, but other games as well, and that isn't right. What if people start doing this towards other games/communities, thinking it'll let them get their way? What if this behaviour escalates because it's shown to work? Rewarding this kind of behaviour by giving them what they want is unacceptable. On a moral level.

I was so excited for Valko. As well as my sister/friends who play the game too. He seemed like such an interesting character, with fun five stars and unique plot that I was so excited to explore.

I enjoy good storytelling and, say what you will about Infold being a greedy company, they're great at story telling, from the main story to the plot of 5/4 star cards, the anecdotes, world underneath, etc. That's why I trust and remain invested in Infold's ability to tell a story, and believe that if they released Valko before a Sylus and Caleb update, there was some plot related reason they wanted it to happen first. Maybe it's naive, but changing the story because one portion of the fanbase doesn't like it is an insane move, that only serves to piss off the other portion of the fanbase.

To say that I am extremely disappointed with this decision would be an understatement. It feels so disrespectful to the global fanbase that invest time, money and emotions into this game, and even create fan works for it. We were excited for him. He had an audience that would've been excited to explore his character, even if the CN players weren't.

I understand frustration towards the lack of content for Caleb and Sylus, and I do think that Infold needs to address this. I would, personally, prefer delaying the fourth myths in favour of focusing on second bond stories and free four stars for the two. This would also be f2p friendly move, as players have more time to save for the myth.

I also agree that main story updates should be more frequent and prioritised over cash grabs, like frequent multi banners, re runs, paid outfits/events, etc. However, removing a character that the global fanbase is excited for, just because the domestic fanbase isn't is an insane move, and just shooting yourself in the foot.

If Infold had no desire to listen to, and take into account the voices of its global fanbase, then they shouldn't have expanded the game to the global fanbase to start with. They shouldn't have events overseas, or attend expos abroad. Because, clearly, they don't value or the opinions, of global players.

All isolating global players will do is make them leave LADS for a different game, the success of LADS shows there is a market for similar games. Losing players will mean losing their money too, and the decrease in profits will only mean that there will be less money to create content for the existing five characters, slowing down production of myths, main story updates, and other content (such as missing content for Sylus and Caleb).

I sincerely hope Infold reconsiders this decision, and, at minimum, releases Valko for the global audience only, if the CN players really hate him that much.

Obey Me Ido: Wedding Night Memories Lore

A collection of background and character lore from the main event in Demon's Party for both romanced and non-romanced demons, as well as the individual Starfall cards.

The main event story differs slightly depending on which demon you have selected. They each have a romanced and non-romanced puzzle, the last episode differs of course, and one other part is different as well.

🍷Lucifer's Wisdom

Lucifer has a different dialogue for each of his brothers being romanced, which is rather sweet. For Mammon and Asmo, he expresses that MC will be safe. For Levi and Beel, he knows that MC will keep them safe. And for Satan and Belphie, he asks MC to look after them (ಥ◡ಥ)

For Mammon, Lucifer knows that he treasures MC, and that the two can overcome any issues. On the notion of putting Mams in charge of money though... "Heh... ...Don't do that. Seriously... You will regret that." (˘ŏ_ŏ)

For Levi, Lucifer knows MC brings out the best in him, and that without MC, Levi would still be stuck in his shell. "Your relationship brings out the best of him."

For Satan, Lucifer says he changed the most after meeting MC, that MC taught him so many more feelings than just rage. He asks for MC to look after him. "But his habit of becoming a workaholic surely will not change easily. Please, watch over him so he doesn't overdo it."

For Asmo, Lucifer believes MC is the only person to treat him as a regular demon. He never thought Asmo would settle down with one person, but MC has the power to change someone that much. "No matter what, Asmo won't leave you."

For Beel, Lucifer says MC is the only one with the strength to protect him, and is glad he has MC at his side. If food runs low, let him know and he'll send as much as is needed. "Beel is driven by a strong desire to protect those dear to him. I trust he will always protect you."

For Belphie, Lucifer believes it was MC who saved him from his long sorrow, and that his experience in losing a loved one means that he won't let MC go. He asks MC to comfort Belphie when he needs it. "Take care of him for me."

As for the various routes and cards, here's the rest! And yes, Asmo does seem rather mean about Solomon, much as Lucifer has been regarding Diavolo 👀

🦚 Lucifer

Lucifer non-romance:

His only wish is for MC and their partner to be happy.

[See above section for his character specific advice.]

MC has strengthened the bonds between the demons, and is an irreplaceable family member.

Hopes MC lives happily ever after.

Lucifer romance:

Puzzle given by Simeon with hint to meet MC outside.

Lucifer guesses it is intended as a reminder of how essential MC is to him.

Is pleased with MC's progress given the custom is unfamiliar to them.

Tonight he will grant a wish for MC as a reward: will kiss all night until MC is tired of him; or hold MC in arms until sunrise.

Asks MC not to make a longing face, as he wants to take MC right there.

At the Bell, he reflects that he never thought the day would come when the Devildom would celebrate his marriage.

Lucifer card:

Just Us Tonight

Begins in carriage [see Asmo's card].

A passing shop catches Lucifer's eye, and he asks to take a peek.

He senses magic, but it isn't dangerous.

It's a photo studio, and he suggests getting a photo together.

The studio is staffed by ghosts.

Lucifer compliments MC's pretty smile in their photo.

Mammon appears with Levi, along with Solomon who says Simeon and Luke are there too, and that he knew "you guys" would be here [we do not see sprites for the angels].

Diavolo and Barbatos are also present, the latter says something had guided their steps there.

Satan, Belphie and Beel are also present.

Lucifer suggests a group photo.

Afterwards, he is very pleased to have such a keepsake [Nb see bottom section!].

He spots a spirit in the background of the photo, and clocks the studio as the work of the Fallen Bell.

Lucifer says how precious non-eventful days are to him with those he loves.

Takes MC on his arm back to new home.

Lucifer is proud of MC, and rests on their shoulder.

He blushes at head pats before suggesting MC can touch other places too.

Delights in teasing MC

Brings vintage Demonus to bed.

MC or Lucifer can take the lead.

Lucifer is pleased that making MC wait made them more lustful.

"You're the only one in the three worlds I will let own me. You know that, right?"

Promises the best night of MC's life.

He talks in his sleep, restless dreams, "Don't go, MC..."

MC can reassure him.

"I like when you beg. You're getting good at it, you know?"

💳 Mammon

Mammon non-romance:

Asks MC to choose a cake - one has a special coin hidden inside.

"Come to Papa!"

Whichever MC chooses will have the coin.

When MC is around, Mammon always has good luck.

His wish is for MC to take the coin.

The legend of the Lucky Coin says that couples who receive it will never lack for money in life.

MC must keep it in their shoe till night for it to work.

Briefly pretends to have allergies to excuse his crying earlier at the ceremony.

Asks MC to take care of his brother.

Mammon romance:

Puzzle given by Barbatos, a quiz on fairness, relationships, splitting chores, what it means to be a partner.

Mammon thinks these things should be decided with MC and that it doesn't matter what is considered normal, it's their choice.

Knows MC wouldn't really let people down, but appreciates them giving his idea to ditch some thought.

Barbatos shows up to drag him back on task.

At the Bell he is emotional, tells MC they look "crazy good" and that he might not let them sleep till morning.

Mammon card:

Whispers Of The Bell

Begins in carriage [see Asmo's card].

MC receives a "happiness email" on their DDD.

Mammon says it might be suspicious, but to open it in case it's their lucky day, or they've won the "big demon-lottery jackpot".

A spirit pops out and drops a small bell-shaped vial - "A special gift for the two of you".

Mammon clocks it as a gift from the Fallen Bell.

The lid pops open and a dark aura emerges, Mammon jumps in front of MC to take the hit - he's fine, lmao.

Mammon doesn't think it's an evil spell, but he will always protect MC and says not to worry.

Moves to Mammon's living room, he mentions they've just moved in.

Is happy they're drinking coffee out of matching mugs.

Asks MC if they can make their famous fried cockatrice for dinner tomorrow. Or their great dark-sea bream carpaccio.

Reveals the demons all used to fight over MC's cooking.

Offers to cook for MC too.

Says MC looks tired, blushes.

"... Hey, don't tease me like that ...Let's go to bed."

In pjs and suddenly all of Mammon's thoughts can be heard by MC.

Mammon mentions he has "crazy deja vu" [see Overflowing Feelings devilgram, 2024].

He is a very blushy demon, and decides he may as well say his thoughts out loud.

Tells MC how much he loves them.

MC or Mammon can take the lead.

MC's thoughts start leaking out as well, much to his happiness.

Mams is embarrassed in the morning, realises it was the work of the aura/spirit/Bell.

MC can tell him he was cute, and he's very pleased - says he'll keep telling them how he feels out loud.

"Now it's my turn to show you how much I love you. I'm ready to go all night, so don't tap out too quickly."

🐍 Levi

Levi non-romance:

Asks to play Devil Crossing on DDD with him [see Devil Crossing Rare Item devilgram, 2021].

Reminisces about a poisonous apple tree that a bugged out Lucifer character was stuck at.

Gives in-game friendship band, a rare mythical item.

Recognises MC as his eternal best friend and closest friend.

Levi romance:

Puzzle given by Thirteen, questions about traps, but Levi has escaped.

Blushes at thought of first night.

Asks for a second kiss.

Walks away "funny" after said kisses ¬ᴗ¬

Cries at the Bell, worries about first night.

Levi card:

Our Story Begins

Begins in Levi's living room, hunting for his toothbrush.

Finds shining book.

No need to be careful, Levi is here to protect MC!

Regular novel with wedding story... their wedding story!

He's afraid it might also contain wedding night details...

When MC asked to hold his hand, it gave him butterflies.

Story ends there and Levi is relieved - but then their inner thoughts start appearing in the book.

Levi blushes and closes the book in a panic.

Promises MC won't be sleeping tonight.

Levi is nervous now he's in his pjs.

Book glows again and turns into a strategy guide - How to Spend the Night with Your Partner.

He goes to peek for reference, and MC stops him.

He asks for permission to touch MC, and says he's been holding back.

Panics at MC undressing as he wants to undress them himself, gains his confidence.

In the morning, he's so happy he's a little scared.

Book has been updated with all last nights events?!! (o_o;)

"But... it felt kind of nice being toyed with by you."

🦄 Satan

Satan non-romance:

Asks MC to sign lots of paperwork for him.

Human-demon marriages are special cases requiring such.

Remarks that humans [can!] change name upon marriage, demons don't do this.

In the Devildom, marriage can be sealed by a spoken vow: "To you, my eternal love, I offer my name."

MC doesn't actually get a choice over this.

Satan romance:

Puzzle given by Mephisto, to find and return a cat.

Satan is impressed by the task requiring detective work and legwork.

His only wish is to marry MC.

He is greedy for more which scares him, and wants to take MC right now...

Distracted by the cat!

At the Bell he smiles that this isn't a dream.

"Make all of me yours. I desire nothing more than to be yours."

Satan card:

Your Warmth Undoes Me

Begins in House of Lamentation, looking at wedding gifts.

One gift box is glowing - it contains a cat!

Mystery cat vanishes leaving a trail of bell-shaped pawprints.

Satan is delighted by the cat toying with their emotions.

The cat climbs the wall, and the ceiling...

Satan can detect the magic in the cat.

Cat leads him to a second small box, containing either: a ticket stub from the movie he saw at RAD with MC on their first date [see The Best Laid Plans devilgram, 2023]; or a receipt from the Cat's Eye, when MC took Satan there on a date as a thanks for tutoring them [Satan's favourite cat-themed cafe from the OG game].

Moves to bathroom [new bathrooms coming soon?! With shirtless models pls??].

Satan fills a bath for him and MC.

He purchased Hellrose bath bombs on Asmo's recommendation.

A glittery bomb he doesn't remember buying jumps into the bath, soaking them both.

"You look so beautiful when you're wet."

Pounces on MC before they can dry themself.

MC makes him feel "animalistic".

Every morning he will wake MC with a kiss.

"... I still don't want to let you go. Can we stay like this a little longer?"

💖 Asmo

Asmo non-romance:

Booked venue for a classic Asmo party.

Presents include photos taken with magic flying camera.

Presents a book, Asmo's Special Guide to Love!, co-written with Simeon.

If the love interest makes MC cry, Asmo will beat him up.

Asks for a dance.

Asmo romance:

Puzzle given by Solomon, to eat a cake he made and guess secret ingredient.

Asmo fears he may die.

MC can use or suggest using magic to solve the puzzle.

Asmo states that Solomon hasn't changed.

Will force Solomon to attend Asmo Nights every day when he returns [see Asmo Night devilgram, 2019].

Imagines Solomon as an evil stepmother coming to scold him.

Takes a selfie at the Bell.

Determined to show MC how cool and manly he can be(?).

Asmo card:

Surrender To My Lips

Introduces the carriage seen in most of the cards.

Prepared by Asmo, outside covered in light magic so it sparkles, white flowers made to float and flutter in breeze.

Prepared snacks, jewel like candy, Demonus.

Asmo happy if told he is the only princess.

Spirit creates fireworks display.

Moves to new home.

Watches wedding video on repeat.

Didn't really want anyone else seeing MC look so beautiful, MC is the first one to make him feel this way.

Aroma candle and honeymoon talk in the morning.

"Touch Me. Ravage me, MC. Have your way with me."

🍔 Beel

Beel non-romance:

Asks MC to eat food he has made.

Wedding message on skewer in steak, drew portrait on a pie, both have spirit sauce that restores energy and bring happy memories from RAD.

Beel asks if MC considers him their older or younger brother.

If older, whenever MC needs him he will be there.

If younger, Beel enjoys MC looking after him.

Beel romance:

Beel has collapsed!

Luke's puzzle is to find the food that means the most to him and MC.

MC conjures him a 50 patty Giga-Death Burger to get his strength back.

Beel plans to take turns with MC cooking each other's favourites, or making a hotpot of everything they love.

Puzzle solution is Magma Butter Cake that he shared with MC on his birthday [see Beel's birthday event, 2022].

At the Bell he apologises for his stomach rumbling.

"Tonight, let me savor all of you."

Beel card:

The First Taste

Celebratory banquet, Beel is full!

Belphie states if the last huge cake is eaten, MC will find happiness.

Beel says if Belphie says so, it must be true.

Each slice is a different colour, a different taste, a different memory: transient strawberry bavarois, pumpkin ghost pudding, biting grape tart... [Provided by spirit presumably.]

Beel has last slice, reveals later that it tasted of "our first kiss".

Moves to new bedroom.

Rest of card is... tasting 👀

"Mm... not just your lips. Even your fingertips... And even your chest tastes sweet... Can I find out if other parts of you are just as sweet?"

💤 Belphie

Belphie non-romance:

The Devildom has seven stars [recte, constellations], one for each of the brothers.

Belphie creates eighth constellation for MC and partner.

Octavus, the eighth family member, two stars that burn at the same brightness.

Other constellations look like they're keeping watch over them.

Belphie can create planetariums, or use his crystal to project constellations.

Belphie romance:

Puzzle given by Raphael, to state what MC thinks of when a particular song plays.

Song is a lullaby Raphael sang once at lunchtime, making Belphie very happy.

Belphie thinks Raphael's puzzle may also be a blessing.

Finds the Bell sound beautiful, makes him wide awake.

Jokes he may fall asleep as soon as they're home.

States he will never leave MC.

Belphie card:

In Your Gentle Hands

Begins in carriage [see Asmo's card].

Spirit provides a ghost train run by a ghost.

Spirit knew they'd ridden a ghost train before [see 2023 birthday event romance, & Ghost Train of my Dreams daily chats].

Delighted to see a shooting star.

Moves to new bedroom.

Makes MC wait, gives a massage.

"Tonight, I'll love you in places I couldn't before..."

🔔 The Fallen Bell

A ceremony performed after the wedding.

Two souls vowed to each other must overcome trials to gain the blessings of spirits.

The two must honour partygoers requests.

The more rings of the Bell, the more happiness on first night.

Lucifer: given a studio and ghost photographer in which to take a group photo of everyone he cares about together.

Mammon: given a temporary spell that makes his thoughts audible to MC.

Levi: given a book that tells the live story of their wedding day and night, to keep evermore.

Satan: given a memento of first date via cat, and a magical bath bomb that gets them soaking wet which is apparently a huge turn on for him.

Asmo: given a fireworks display celebrating their marriage.

Beel: given a special giant cake where every slice reminds him of a different memory of him and MC, including their first kiss.

Belphie: given a ghost train.

Lucifer's gift from the Fallen Bell here is particularly noteworthy, as in the original game Lucifer loathed having his photograph taken for any and every reason. Simeon requests such a photo for his birthday event in 2021, and Lucifer begrudgingly grants it only because it is his birthday.

Now, the newly married Lucifer is not just content to have his photo taken but actively pleased to do so, and to take a couple picture and a group one too.

Because he's one happy retired mans (ಥ◡ಥ)
