Welcome to the third annual Secret Larry Valentine 2023!

What is Secret Larry Valentine about?

The Secret Larry Valentine is a gift exchange created by @thedevilinmybrain​ and @polaroidlouis​. Our main purpose is to bring people together and spread love by celebrating this fandom's creativity!

By signing up, you agree to make a gift for your assigned "Secret Valentine", and in return you'll receive one yourself. Think Secret Santa but with cupids!

Gifts can be: fics, fanart, gifs or gif sets, photo edits, moodboards, videos, etc. The minimum word count for the fics is 1k.

Who can participate?

Everyone is welcomed! So long as you are committed to turn your gift in in time.

Schedule:

Sign Ups Start January 5th

Sign Ups End January 13th

Assignments Come Out January 14th

Gifts Due on February 14th by 1pm EST

How do I sign up?

It’s pretty simple. You just have to fill out this sign up form, providing a prompt or a short list of things you like, as well as, list what type of gift you’d be willing to give. You will then get a message on your tumblr or email to let you know who your assigned recipient is!

How will posting work?

We require you to make a rebloggable post here on Tumblr for your gift however you believe it's best, tagging both your Secret Valentine and our blog. All gifts will be reblogged here! Remember, it is a secret. So don’t post any snippets or sneak peaks until the reveal date.

Harry streams the whole thing, too overwhelmed to sing along, clutching his phone above his head as Louis whips the fans into a frenzy, playing both sides of the stage before staking a claim to the middle. Niall is shouting along beside him, lost in the madness and dancing something formless and frantic and free. Harry doesn’t even notice the pins and needles in his arm until the encore break, tears springing to his eyes as he switches hands and lowers his arm slowly, letting the blood rush back into it. He bites back a sob and glances at the screen. Maybe he could stop streaming, use his phone hand to massage some life back into his poor arm.

Harry blinks. There are fifteen thousand people watching his stream.

Harry Styles is an up-and-coming performer, finally making his debut in West End as Danny Zuko in Grease. Louis Tomlinson is the big name director, taking a chance on the relatively unknown, yet promising performer. Lots of pining, backstage chaos and french inhaling practice ensues.

The café popped out of nowhere. Harry remembered the shop used to be empty, always only a FOR RENT sign on dusty window. Now, though, its doors were opened.

Rouge Roastery’s menu was unique and Harry settled on a bold choice of Himalayan rose salt latte.

“Rose latte, please.”

The barista’s messed up fringe fell into ocean blues. “Sure, love.”

Harry tried not to stare as the barista’s tattooed fingers worked away.

“Ta-da.”

Harry giggled when he saw cute penguins floating in the latte foam.

“Pretty top. Hope to see you in it tomorrow.” This was said with a wink.

I have never written a drabble before and it was quite a challenge!
