skiesindigo:
“Just a cheerleader?” Indigo repeated, eyebrow raising. She’d seen how hard Rosie and her other friends on the Vixens worked. When it came to being able to dance and move so smoothly, elegantly… well, Indi may argue that is harder than being rough on the Exy court. She certainly wouldn’t be able to do cheer-leading. Still, she wasn’t about to give Patch that satisfaction of admiration.
By now, the effects of the pot were hitting Indigo pretty hard. Despite being 5′11″, she was all skin and bone, and things like alcohol or substances affected her quickly. She giggled, opening up to Patch a little more now, despite the history. “We could play truth or dare, I’ve never done that high,” She suggested, feeling too lazy and comfortable currently to do anything too crazy - like scale a building. “Unless you’re chicken.”
Patch wiggled her fingers dismissively. “Just a cheerleader as in; Exy is a foreign language. I feel like I like my chances against any of the Foxes outside of that,” she said teasingly, swinging her head towards Indigo and arching a cocky eyebrow, before she let out a giggle and finished off the joint, stubbing it and putting it in her jacket pocket to throw away later.
“Oh no, I’m an open book darling. I don’t think I could lie to those pretty eyes anyways,” she drawled teasingly, clicking her tongue. The irony of her words didn’t escape her, especially as she echoed Indigo's own words about facing the press just a couple days earlier. “I’ll even let you ask the first question, if you’d like,” she offered, her lips curling up into a smile that didn’t seem likely to fade anytime soon.
