i just saw anti’s post saying tony should be the only one apologising from civil war and i’m just-

scott lang doesn’t need an apology from anybody. he is a grown-ass man who made his own fucking choice to steal the suit from hank and go with sam.

wanda maximoff doesn’t require an apology from tony. wanda maximoff never once faced the consequences of her actions - not when she messed w the avenger’s minds, causing hulk to lose his temper and destroy a city of innocent people. not when she joined forces with a robot intent on destroying the planet.

bucky barnes does not require an apology from tony. tony literally watched his parents murder while the murderer was standing in front of him. ya’ll can pretend you wouldn’t react that way yourselves all you like. but i would. if tony wanted barnes dead he would have crushed him in seconds with the suit. no. he was angry. he was hurt.

steve rogers does not require an apology from tony stark. from their very first meeting steve reacts defensively to tony. he resorts to name-calling, consistently hides things from everyone else (and has the absolute cheek of being mad at tony for that in ultron) lies to tony’s face about knowing the truth about bucky. ya’ll wanna be mad @ tony for bringing peter into the fight in leipzig? how ‘bout we get mad at steve for throwing a fucking lorry at the kid? or at wilson, for throwing him out a window?
