Getting started on editing the last short story for my collection today. I'm really excited! And then comes assembling and the final editing run for each of the stories. Can't wait :)

After a string of spectacularly failed relationships in college, Daniel Walker convinced himself it was far better to be alone. While he doesn’t like the sound of the experimental drug trial his girlfriend Amy Veksler found a flyer for on campus, George Ormond still lets himself be persuaded to join it. He,Amy, and three other students go to a warehouse where Doctor Adam Carnesby, the biology professor who’s running the study, has everything set up for the month long trial. Everything seems to be going well even though all five of the students become sick for a week after their first injections. At the start of the second week, they all recover, feeling better than ever. Then, they start to discover that there were more side effects to the drug than just a cold.

Switching things up today by going back to my short stories and editing those for a bit. Letting my other story rest should make it easier to do another editing round on it in a few days. :)

The life of a monster under the bed may not be easy but it is a simple one. Edith was no exception to that simple life, being assigned children as charges and performing her duties well. Until the day she’s assigned to Zoe Bashir. Until the day Zoe turned out to be an adult woman rather than a child. Now Edith has to balance her desire for Zoe with her duty to help her overcome her fears before Zoe loses her last chance with a monster under the bed.
Okay, I finished the first editing run of this story. It's all divided out into chapters now and I'm pretty pleased with this story. A few more editing runs to fine tune and I think we'll be good to go. :) Then I can get back to the other short stories
This one is a short story I pulled from my collection because it was waaaay too long and Kindle is doing their storyteller contest again this year. I’m going to enter this story and then finish editing the collection and start querying for it.
Lots of work over the next couple months. Though I do have an interesting publishing house I’m going to query at so that should be fun.
