I am thinking about embarking on a week of veggie-centric meals, but there was this Portuguese sausage that I had to finish first. I wish I had some rice to eat this with, but the thought didn't occur to me until after I finished cooking. Oh well, no carbs for me. From the Fins on the Hoof truck at Off the Grid in the Presidio, a smoked Scottish salmon and deviled egg salad sandwich. There were crunchy bits of chopped cornichons in the egg salad - mmmhhmmmphmmm. That's me making happy noises while trying to chew. I inhaled this sandwich and would eat at this food truck again and again.

Ended my morning at Google's San Francisco offices with a free lunch from their amazing cafeteria. I would usually avoid picking a salad in this situation, but this arugula one included slices of seared duck. That's right. DUCK. FOR. LUNCH. Ah, to be a Google employee.
