thinking about Scott constantly referring to Legs as “his husband” and Legs immediately correcting with “EX husband”.

Scott comes over to pester Legs while he’s talking with some townsfolk and Legs tells him to piss off. And Scott’s just like “what? Am I not allowed to talk to my husband?” Legs, immediately: “EX husband”

the others start picking up on it

Scott questions Abolish about why he’s spending so much time with his husband and Abolish just flatly looks at him and goes “Ex Husband”.

Scott teases Owen about how he thinks it’s cute he can flirt with his husband. “Ex husband” Owen grumbles back and storms off.

there’s some scene where Scott is doing one of his ‘has everyone wrapped around his finger’ speeches to the townsfolk and he makes a comment like “you’re all happy to cozy up to my husband” and there is just a resounding chorus of “EX HUSBAND” from everyone

Scott just thinks it’s funny

that is, until the day that Shelby does it.

but yeah, for the longest time Scott just kinda flirts like that, y'know, nothing supposed to happen. he just knows it pisses Legs off and makes him a funny shade of red so it's funny to see. but for that hate to turn into other reasons Legs hates him? unexpected

Scott isn't easily flustered, he's used to people hitting on him because duh, he's attractive, he has money, whatever. his weakness is mindless or just genuine affection, small things, genuine romantic gestures. it makes him feel fuzzy and uncomfortable and he hates it :3

thinking about how mumbo is so endlessly and effortlessly appreciative of his fellow hermits when it comes to their builds, their play style, and their points of view. his compliments always seem incredibly heartfelt and he brings an infectious curiousity to his videos in regards to why and how the hermits are doing what they're doing. I love that it's not enough for him to incorporate his interests into his videos when it comes to photography, he wants to share that genuine joy with us and them. I often come away from his videos feeling a sense of wanting to make a more conscious effort to be grateful and thoughtful of the people and world around me.
