Odd Future The washing machines talk in Japan. And, they don't simply wash: they deodorize, wash and dry in one transaction. Add money, and it goes. This is #transformers grade shit. Absolute genius...but this post isn't about that. Being #ontheroad you'll find that even though the journey is often exciting and full of new experiences for the senses, your "real life" doesn't stop. Clothes still get dirty, your diet gets wrecked (less so in Japan, but still...I shouldn't be eating this much rice), and you occasionally have a moment(s) to think and reflect. And sometimes the confluence of your"real" vs "imagined" life intersect unexpectedly and things get weird. When I dreamed of travelling, living on my art, I never saw myself having to do laundry. In my daydreams, I'm somehow always clean, always fed; never sick, never sad. The truth of it is, your real life and imagined one are always in #parallax racking between each other, neither ever quite in focus. Slowly you adjust... realizing that time exists all at once, that you are the person you've wanted to be, the person you are, the person you always were... And then the clothes finish. . . . . . #doyoutravel #travelmore #openmyworld #lovetotravel #roamtheplanet #travelblogger #bloggersofinstagram #bloggerlife #digitalnomad #workandtravel #workfromanywhere #workabroad #momentsofmine #filmlife #filmmakers #4k #absurd #instaart #instatravel #japan #osaka #clean #blackinasia #blacksamurai (at Osaka) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp4lg4CleW1/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=q3k6iat5m1wi
