Quick Study Tip

Making a due-date sheet

As soon as you get all of your syllabi for all your courses, pick a pen colour for each course. Then, pick a highlighter colour - I like to use yellow for REALLY IMPORTANT assignment due dates and hot pink for final exams.

Print off a mini monthly calendar, preferably where your entire semester can fit on one double-sided page, and fill in every assignment // exam // due date in their respective pen colours. Then, highlight (or circle in highlight) the really important due dates and exam dates. 

Keep this piece of paper in your agenda, so you ALWAYS know how much time you have between each important date and when your important due dates are. You’d be surprised at how effective it is in calming you down (when you’re panicking about the dates) and in motivating you (because you know exactly how much time you have to prepare for each due date).
